One issue is that it procced pretty often, so we found e.g. six Fire Axes in a container.
The other issue is that the duplicated food is fresh, not stale or rotten like the other stuff.
When you approach a container for the first time it has a chance to spawn duplicate items of the items in that container according to your scavenging skill level. The way chunks are saved and loaded in Zomboid, compared to other mods like for example car mods added mid game, you must go to a new area to spawn new chunks. So if the logic is the same, the extra items gained will only ever trigger on new chunks/new containers.
to put it bluntly, when searching containers in a vehicle's interior, player can scavenge multiple times from the same container and pretty much duplicate some of their pre-existing loot in said containers, sorry if I explained that badly lol
like I said, not sure of the root cause but I just wonder if anyone else has experienced this / if it can be resolved at all, thanks for your time and thanks for the epic mod!!
I translated your mod (or the development of this mod, or whatever you did xD) into Italian, thanks for your work and for sharing it with the community!
