Description
this was originally a script i wrote for my server, but i modified it to be a standalone addon!
the title is self-explanatory, this addon adds country flags above players' heads (the country shown in the flag is your country)

some Country Flags features:
  • slightly hijacks SUI Scoreboard (that fancy scoreboard you see in most servers) to add a country flag under players' names! (look in addon images for an example)
  • ability to choose whether you want people to see your country or not!
  • flags appear much bigger when you're in a vehicle, this lets you see others' flags from far away (for example, if you're in air combat, or in tanks, or whatever lol)
  • custom flag for server bots
  • a spawnmenu control panel, and console commands if you prefer!

you can control the flags behavior in Spawnmenu > Options > Player > Country Flags, but if you prefer, you can use convars too:
er_flagdistance 1500 - controls how far away you can see flags, default is 1500 units er_sendmycountry 1 - whenever you join a server, this controls if your country will show up, default is 1 (yes) er_showmycountry 1 - this controls whether you can see your own flag in thirdperson, default is 1 (yes) er_largeflagsinvehicles 1 - self explanatory, flag size depends on how big the vehicle is, default is 1 (yes)

Could you make this addon notify the player about their flag being displayed before it's displayed, and allow them the option to turn it off before it's shown?

I was thinking this addon would do so because for eg. you live in a country that you're not ethnically related to so you would want your own bloodline country to show up instead
