A wholesome union of a weaponized plague and your favorite Persona weapon! Wait... what?




This mod patch introduces the Mechanite Plague to all your favorite Persona weapons! Modded Persona weapons included! Make use of TWO THREE brand new persona weapon traits to infect targets with the plague, then kill them to unleash mechanoid Bursters upon your enemies! However, be warned! The Mechanite Plague is a sword that can be wielded by all!

• Mechanite Infector: A positive trait that allows any persona weapon to inflict the Mechanite Plague against your foes!
      
• Mechanite Injector: A negative trait that, at a low chance, injects the user with the Mechanite Plague whenever they attack other pawns! Looks like your persona weapons might favor the mechanoid hives over you...
  
  
• *Mechanite Infester: A positive... ? trait that may come at a cost too high to bear. If you find a pawn worthy enough or crazy enough to wield a persona weapon with this trait then expect to receive some powerful buffs!
  *Experimental: My addition to make a simple patch mod into something that is at least 33% my own. However it might need balancing and I would love any feedback you might have!

Three new special variant persona effectors!

• Persona Mechanite Effector: This new mechanite variant of the Persona Extension Effector will add a random standard mechanite trait to a persona weapon. Wasted if used on a persona weapon containing incompatible traits.
  
  
• Persona Guardian Effector: This new mechanite variant of the Persona Reduction Effector will purge any existing mechanite trait on a persona weapon. Wasted if used on a persona weapon containing no mechanite traits.
  
  
• Persona Mechanite Gestation Effector: This... variant of the Persona Extension Effector WILL add the 'Mechanite Infester' trait if used on a persona weapon and nothing will stop this. Incompatible traits will be assimilated or devoured by this effector. Actually there is a trait that could stop this effector from working... I wonder which one..

• I have a mod idea using Vanilla Persona Weapons Expanded additional persona sprites. I mean what's a Mechanite Persona Blade without a cool sprite to show off its cool but most importantly... deadly characteristics.
  
  
• So there are modded persona weapons that are ranged. I see no reason as to why they WOULDN'T work with this mod but just in case I'll be doing a little research and implementing changes if they are needed.
  
  
• Make it near impossible to remove the bonded persona weapon once equipped (when they have the Mechanite Infester trait). I want this trait to really simulate that you not only infesting others with mechanites to spread the Mechanite Plague but YOU YOURSELF are just as much as a victim as your enemies. Imagine grabbing a persona weapon with this trait and watching as it spreads mechanites all over your body and physically binds itself to you like Ares did to Kratos with the Blades of Chaos searing into his flesh.

I want to thank Irecreeper and Arquebus for creating their respective mods for all of us to enjoy! Ideas kept popping into my head each and every time I loaded up Rimworld with their mods and eventually lead to me making this patch!
