Welcome to Gashnor's Cursed Halo 3!

An original taking on the "Cursed" genre for Halo 3's campaign, now fully overhauled to 4.0 in celebration of this mod being two years old! A chaotic and funny experience, trying to keep every concept original to my own creations. A large majority of cutscenes are now modified, and some in-game events as well.

Fully supports 4-player co-op!

As of the 4.0 Update, this now has overhauled all co-op players to be a unique character!

New Weapons and Vehicles!!

19 new weapons, some ported from Cursed Halo Reach, and some entirely new and unique to Cursed Halo 3! There are also two new vehicles to use, scattered throughout the campaign and possible spawns through the Interdimensional Marble!


Do you like the mod and want more? I encourage you to try my Cursed Halo Reach! Expanding on everything I learned from this mod, and amplifying it! More balancing, more vehicles, more vehicles, more chaos!

I actually mislead you on how soon, the 4.0 update is live now. 19 new weapons, 2 new vehicles, tons of cutscene modifications, tons of sandbox updates. I expect a few bugs that I couldn't catch by myself, so please report what you find, but overall I think it's in a great state!

cant wait! ADD a shotgun that shoot sniper rounds and call it the BLUNDERBUUUST, another idea is an weapon thats mechanically its a gravity hammer but rangeof an energy sword dialed to an 11.

@ChaiQi Hopefully you resolved it, but the only time that usually happens is a version error. I haven't updated this in a bit, though I will have a new update SOON that massively overhauls a lot of the mod.

If this happens again, I recommend all parties unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod, and verifying if any downloads need to happen.

@TTV-BoomerO93 For anyone else who has issues with it not showing, verify when you launch MCC that it gives you an option to choose EAC enabled or EAC disabled (mods allowed). Choose the EAC Disabled (Mods Allowed) option, and navigate to Halo 3 campaign. It should pop up there. If not, unsubscribe and resubscribe quickly (give it ~5 seconds between each action) and see if it forces a download.

A friend and I are running into an odd issue where we are able to load into the first mission (checkpoint after the intro cutscene) and walk a bit, but after a short while or when one of us almost gets out of the cave-like passage, a "game error" punts us back to the main menu. Any idea what the issue could be?

I just want to say, thank you for this mod. I don't think I've laughed this much playing a game since the first time I played Postal 2. I know Cursed Halo wasn't a new idea. But you've certainly made this your own. Seriously thank you for the time and effort you clearly put into this amazingly cursed mod. As of now I'm just starting Floodgate. I can't wait to finish it and move onto to the ODST and Reach versions. (PS. That cutscene at the start of crows nest is Halo Dub tier)

I wanted to give a heads up to everyone, I'm working on a "4.0" update that will add a good amount of content from my Cursed Halo Reach mod, as well as some brand new weapons. This should hopefully release in the next few months, but this work takes time. Thank you all for helping me reach over 65k subs, and I hope this next version really adds a ton of replayability. I'm modifying cutscenes, in game scripts, and so much more.

This is literally the most entertaining version of halo I have ever played.
