* About
By default, the entire planet is polluted over about 13 years.
It is designed to create a pollution threat to the player's settlement around 5 years after the start of the game.

Pollution spreads across 6 settlements of the watster pirate faction. You can stop the pollution by attacking and destroying that settlement.

If you destroy all the targets, you will see the ending where the entire planet is purified.


You can control everything in the options.

count of pollution creating base


* Are you afraid of lag?
Do not worry. When I increased the simulation speed by x300 and the game speed by x4, there was no lag.
You will need x4000 speed, not x4 speed, to experience lag in this mod.



* Over 5 to 15 years, you will see the following changes






* Destroy bases that create pollution
Destroying the pollution base will purify the area.





* Destroy all, Ending
Destroying all polluted bases will purify the planet with a special ending text and music.

chance of spawning near players doesn't help, after many tests one will spawn far away and the others will cluster around the player

I'm so excited to play with this! I'm playing a game in which the whole planet is meant to become more and more polluted, no stopping it.

Only problem I'm having is that I don't understand what the settings mean. Could anyone help with that? I want things to get polluted faster than in 5 years, and I don't want to be able to stop it. What do all the different options mean?

@Creneis it is not. As long as you arent travelling to the ship at the other side of the world you should be fine though. You might have to destroy the bases if you are but all it takes is 2 doomsday rocket launchers and a few colonists in marine armour

Question: Is there a reverse version of this mod? I'm thinking of doing a run where my objective is to pollute the entire planet to make it uninhabitable for everyone except for my tox immune geneotype.

Does the game actually end upon defeating all the pollution generating factions or can I keep playing?
