Description
HUD² (HUD Squared) - Vertical Version

A vertical version of HUD².

Check here for available custom crosshairs
Check here for available radial health bars (CRHB)

Replaces the local player, teammate, weapon panel and Versus UI.
If, for whatever reason, only want this to replace the Survivor HUD, click here.

NOTE:
  • If you have a survivor mod that replaces the survivor incap .vmt for whatever reason, the game will say that there are conflicts and the incap panel MIGHT be bugged. In theory, even with the conflicts, everything should still function as normal but in case it doesn't, one way of fixing this is by changing the mod priority, other than that there really isn't much I can do.
  • This HUD is not guaranteed to work properly with a Steam Deck. L4D2 has specific parameters that are applied to certain UI elements when it detects that it's being played on a Steam Deck, since I do not own a Steam Deck, I am unable to check whether it looks okay or not.
  • This HUD was made in a 1920x1080 resolution and the health bar and portrait doesn't seem to scale properly at lower resolutions, causing them to look very out of place. I don't know why it does that but I might be able to fix it.

I tried removing the game menu UI mod and my crosshair it doesn’t seem to help. I don’t really know what else could be causing the conflict tbh

the general root cause of that problem is that you probably have a custom crosshair that is incompatible with this hud or you have a UI related mod that is conflicting with this one.
