Description
Its finally here!

#1273 is a 4-8-4 Steam Locomotive owned by the fictional JD Logistics

Separate tender is required (can be found in the required items).
Make sure to hook up the hose and cable once connected

The Johnson bar acts to adjust the timing on the cylinders.
Closer to center = increased max speed and greater efficiency
Further from Center = more torque
if the Johnson bar is in the forward position, the train goes forward
If the Johnson bar is in the backwards position, the train goes backwards

Throttle is self explanatory, it controls the amount of steam going to the cylinders

Brakes:

Independent brakes are the locomotive wheel brakes, and act faster

Train brakes control the brakes on the entire train, and are more complex as they simulate real airbrakes, the 4 modes are:
Release (0) allows the brake pipe to recharge, releasing the brakes
Lap (1) Holds brake pipe pressure steady
S1 (2) decreases brake pipe pressure slowly, slowly applying the brakes
S2 (3) decreases brake pipe pressure fast, applies brakes faster

more pressure in the brake pipe = less brake application
less pressure in brake pipe = more brake application

Fire controls:

air: determines the amount of air allowed into the firebox, used to control temperature

REALISTIC FIRING:
- The firebox temp will be based on amount of coal in the firebox and the fire mixture.
- Fire mixture is based on the ratio of coal to air in the firebox, and is controlled mainly by the stack pressure and damper.
- Stack pressure is determined by the amount of steam being exhausted, you can also add to this by using the blower to trade steam pressure for stack pressure.
- Only shovel coal when you need more pressure

water valve: determines the amount of water allowed into the boiler.

The dyno generates electricity for the lights.

START UP:

Before starting the Loco, make sure to open both manual valves on the left side under the cab. Then flip the ignite switch.

Tip:
if you flood the boiler with water, and close all outside manual valves when shutting down the locomotive, steam pressure will stay in the boiler, speeding up the process of the next startup

@Barry this locomotive was likely broken by the space update, I really haven't had the time to fix it though

no, ive been caught up with school and other projects, once i make a firing controller that works with this new update I will update the creation, and ill leave a comment saying I did, I hate to say it but this locomotive is also pretty low on the list of ones to update, so it may take a while

Ima be real with you here, I haven’t tested or updated this thing in so long that it might just be that it’s not working cause it’s glitched, I’ll fire it up next opportunity I can to see if I need to fix anything
