AFS Athena-class FleetCarrier Mk.4

The Athena-class Fleet-carrier Mk.4 is the central point of all Federal Battle group of the Azurian Republican Fleet. Build in the highly secure Azak Heavy Federal Shipyard, those carriers are the backbone of the fleet.
Capable of launching wave of Fighter, Bomber, and Interceptor at the enemy they are often the main target of counterattack.
To protect themselves, the Athena-class rely on is onboard Interceptor, the escort ship that always accompany them and in a last resort their own weaponry. Weaponry that is powerful enough to be a bad surprise to any overconfident captain believing they found an easy target. The carrier doesn’t shine on the armour or mobility department so its better if they always staying far from the fight.
They are often the flagship of a fleet and act as mobile command center.
They can also act as resupply ship for a short period of time thanks to their large storage capacity.
