Aurora, Leader of Lemuria (Child of Light)

Description
Introduces Aurora, from the video game Child of Light, as the Leader of the Lemurian Civilization.

Leader: Aurora

Leader Trait: The Child of Light
Holy Sites provide culture that equals its adjacency bonus after gaining the Humanism Civic. All units ignore movement penalties from terrains, features, rivers, coastlines and cliffs. +7 Combat Strength when fighting Barbarians, or within the first 10 turns after declaring a Reconquest War.

Leader Agenda: A Hymn of Light
Will seek high culture yield for the Lemurian people. Respects Civilizations with high culture. Hates leaders who backstab and declare surprise war.

Civilization: Lemuria

Trait: The Four Explorers
Increase Production by 33% when building Holy Sites, Commercial Hubs, Encampments and Harbors. Cities receive a bonus to Science equal to 15% of its Faith production.

Unique Building: Altar
Unique Lemurian building that replaces Shrine. Holy Sites with an Altar obtain additional standard adjacency bonuses from all terrain features except Floodplains (i.e. Woods, Rainforests, Marshland, Oasis, Ice, Reefs, Geothermal Fissures, Volcanoes, and Vocanic Soils).

Unique Unit: Kategida Guards
Lemurian unique Medieval Era unit that replaces the Man-At-Arms. These fearsome, masked warriors have higher Combat Strengths as well as higher costs. Will not suffer combat penalties when damaged. (R&F) Receive a Combat Strength boost during Dark Ages.

I do not own any of the materials and all credits go to Ubisoft, Coeur de Pirate and each remix's respective authors.
Special thanks to maconnolly and Hemmelfort for their excellent modding tutorials.

Update Nov 3 2022: Added Vanilla and R&F support.
Update Nov 15 2022: Fixed mod dependency requirements, changed description under Vanilla, and allowed upgrading Kategida Guards to Musketman (despite with the same combat strength and without unique ability).
Updated May 16 2024: Fixed the missing model issue (still uses the vanilla Shrine model). Added several Atomic ambients & theme.
Updated Jun 10 2024: Fixed the Industrial Theme (Hymn of Light by Coeur de Pirate). Rewritten most diplomatic dialogues and make them all rhyme somewhat better.

Atomic theme is by Ezus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hCQbCZ1TjI

Industrial Theme should work properly now. Also updated most diplomatic dialogues to make them rhyme better, with the help of gpt4-o. Not a native English speaker, so any advice is welcomed :)

Couldn't test it yet, but thanks for updating!

Revisited my first mod, and did some minor changes to it. Altar's model should be displayed correctly now. Still have an issue with the Industrial theme (thanks to Wwise for wasting me many desperate hours), but the Atomic theme & ambients work fine. Enjoy :)

@mmmbombs: Thank you for your feedback! It might be hard to find a justifiable reason to add a golden age bonus (after all, we only see how good they are in the dark age). 55 base power / 200 production cost is already VERY powerful for a Medieval melee unit (the same base power as Musketmen). So I believe this is the best that I can come up with.
I do have a concept to introduce the Aerostati balloons for the Lemurians, but 3D modelling isn't something I am good at. Before that happens, I would suggest trying some combos (like holy site + altar span with work ethics, crusade / defender of the faith, or even something like dark ages on purpose + twilight valor to fully utilize dark age bonuses). Kategida Guards remain strong enough all the way till the Industrial era.

I love this mod, it's really well-balanced for a fan-made civ. Only thing is now there's a lot of powercreep with civs like age of steam Victoria. Most of this civ's abilities are are balanced but the Kategida Guards feel pretty weak and underwhelming in non-dark ages when compared to other unique units. Any chance you could give them a golden age effect as well? Maybe +10 healing per turn in a golden age or something?

Awesome. Thanks.

@Knight9910: Updated. It should work fine under vanilla now (ofc without the combat strength boost during dark ages). Thank you and feel free to notice me if you find any more problems...

@Knight9910: Gotcha. It turns out that I forgot to change the .modinfo file. I will reupload today

No, what I'm saying is that this mod requires GS and R&F to run, but it doesn't say that on this page.
