Cultist Expansion: Full Series

Description
The Pleasure Cultist joins the Cultist Expansion!
Upgrades my Cultist of Pleasure Reskin reskin-only mod with gameplay and lore features. Warshrine reskin, new mount and summon, skill flavour update, and more, with a focus on Dark Elven theme.

Adds recruitment for Azazel, Sigvald, Malus, and, of course, Morathi.

This is a submod, so you MUST install the original Cultist of Pleasure Reskin.
Contains NO NUDITY. Not even on statues.

New!
Pleasure Cultist + is now included in a combined mod collection entitled Alshua's Cultists.

Lore
Even after the rise of Chaos, life on the island paradise of Ulthuan was idyllic for many elves. Comfortable longevity begets great achievement, but so too can it beget boredom, intrigue, and a yearning for novelty. Is it any wonder that a people so in love with beauty and mystery would begin to transgress, within the safe secrecy of their salons and parlours? Is it any wonder that the shadow crept in?

Not even the inquisitorial Blademasters who hunted these Cults of Pleasure expected the legion that teemed beneath the rock they overturned. In haste the Cult launched an uprising that was meant to play out more subtly, but even so, the High Elves scarcely survived it. Ulthuan spat the treasonous elven faction and its Cults the way a prizefighter spits a bloodied tooth, and lacked the strength to pursue them into the cold north where they fled.

Under the scorched metal fist of their new King, Malekith, the newly-dubbed Dark Elves were no welcome sanctuary for the Cult of Pleasure, however. Hedonism is a blade with no sheath, and though the Cultists professed loyalty, Malekith knew they would begin to gnaw away at his new society the way they had done on Ulthuan. He brutally proscribed the Cults that had supported him, putting many of the leaders to death in the public and agonizingly slow fashion that would become synonymous with the fledgling culture of Naggaroth. There was one suspected cult leader that he was unable to execute, however.

She was his mother, after all.

Hundreds of years later, Morathi remains, intolerable but untouchable. Her power and charisma are so vital to Dark Elf society that Malekith's punishments and exiles can never last. The Pleasure Cultists under her patronage are an open secret to all, and though Malekith never hesitates to break Morathi's toys where he can, their numbers have only increased over recent decades. Worse yet, the grim agents of Khaine have begun to see signs of the Cult's influence over the Chaos-worshipping tribes of Men that share their snowy northern exile. Is it Morathi's bidding they do, so far from her perfumed halls?

Or is it someone worse?

Dark Elf Theme
Cult of Pleasure Painshrine
Identical in stats, but almost completely reskinned in a Dark Elven style.
Dark Steed
A new mount option. Chaos Steeds are so burly, and their armour is human-styled. The Dark Steed both permits a loreful visual option, and also a new strategic option, sacrificing barding for speed.
Skill Text Adjustments
Renamed from Cultist of Slaanesh to "Pleasure Cultist." Many skill texts and names have been fixed; they used to refer to the Cultist as a male daemon, rather than a female elf.
Mix of Dark Elf and Slaanesh Traits
Cultists will generate either a neutral, Dark Elf, or Slaaneshi trait regardless of what faction they serve. Inappropriate traits such as the Dark Elf Khaine-worshipping trait have been removed from their pool.
Hates High Elves
Now you can decide whether you hate Khorne or High Elves more.

Gameplay
This mod is different than my other three Cultists in that it adjusts the existing Cultist of Slaanesh. So, you will only see one Cultist variant available for recruitment. But they will be a lot more interesting and loreful, as well as recruitable by new factions. The power level of the Cultist is essentially identical to vanilla, as the few gameplay-affecting features are all "horizontal": they provide equivalent new choices that are mutually exclusive with old ones.
Morathi Recruitment
Morathi already has a Pleasure Cult building, so she recruits her Cultists from there. They share a unit cap with Death Hags, so balance is not a significant issue. As Dark Elves do not build cult buildings in enemy towns, Morathi's Pleasure Cultists instead damage enemy buildings, chosen because it is the subtlest Agent action available.
(new!) Malus Darkblade Recruitment
Malus can recruit Pleasure Cultists anywhere (again with the Death Hag unit cap), but only when his Tz'arkan possession levels are high. Their corruption is undesirable to him, but as a tradeoff, they help counteract the attrition it causes.
Azazel and Sigvald Recruitment
The Slaanesh-sworn Warriors of Chaos Lords recruit their cultists from the vassal tribute building, which means they will tend to recruit fewer of them than other factions. I do not think they will create a balance splash in such a powerful faction, but at any rate, lore-wise giving them Cultist access feels almost mandatory.
Furies of Slaanesh Summon Option
In terms of game design, Summons are ideal for cool units that are hard to actually justify having in your army. A lack of initial cooldown and the utility of pulling a flying unit from nowhere make them a fun strategic choice versus the more combat-focused Daemonettes.

FAQ
Can Slaanesh still get a second Cultist Hero in the future?
It's kind of unfair that Slaanesh still just has one Cultist, right? What may the future hold?

Is it compatible with...?
Compatible with Spooky's Slaanesh Cultist reskin, though Morathi will not see those variants.
Balanced for vanilla; will require a submod for SFO or Radious.

Awesome I look forward to it as it just feels odd that you randomly left out Slaanesh haha

@EmoPociejek - It was already updated, just hours after the patch. Unsub and resub to force an update if need be.

@Blazindragon - Something like that is planned.

update pls

Are we getting another kind of Cultist like the other mods of this variety? I suggest calling it something like a Pain or Excess Cultist

It would need a submod to be properly balanced with Radious, and the current submod is defunct.

Does this work with radious?

This mod functions well and does not cause crashes on its own, or with most people's modlists. Like any mod, it may conflict with mods that affect the same things.

Make sure not to use it at the same time as my Cultist Compilation, which includes it. Otherwise you'll have to diagnose the issue by disabling portions of your list until the game starts, to narrow down the conflict.

I can see in the database for the "Better Alliance" mod that the creator has already added support for a lot of modded characters and reskins. You could request that they add support for "Alshua's Cultists." Adding support for that mod would automatically cause the individual mods (like Pleasure Cultist+ to begin functioning as well.
