Optimal Storage

Description
A shocking scientific breakthrough! Cosmoteer scientists discovered that if you keep stored resources in boxes instead of piles, storage capacity of every dedicated slot increases tenfold!

Features
Increases stack capacity of all resources tenfold and gives bigger stacks unique art. In addition, to keep game balanced, whilst keeping performance intact, all drop rates from storage modules are decreased tenfold as well.

Troubleshooting
If you see that mod doesn't show relevant version double check Change Notes to see if it was updated for that version. If yes, but you still see old version, unsubscribe from mod and resubscribe to it again, to completely reload the mod.

Balancing
I don't intend to make any changes to stack sizes anymore. They're final. To resolve issue of long hauling I've increased max hauling capacity to 1/20 of stack for all the resources and this is final too.

The only thing I will be balancing is amount of dropped resources. For now I've changed it to 1/10 of original to keep same amount as in vanilla, but as it seems I will be increasing it a little bit.

Modding
If somebody wants to make changes to the balance, you're free to add this mod as requirement, override the values in it and release mod-patch for it.

Compatibility
Some people are asking me to make this mod compatible with Jami's Shipyard. To make it simple: this ain't mine or Jami's issue. As much as I understood that this is an issue with game's texture atlas that gets generated, when loads new sprites added by me and Jami. And since both of our mods add lots of sprites, atlas runs out of free space before everything gets added and crashes. As much as I know, SwitchyWitch already made bug report about this issue to game developer. Patiently wait for it to be resolved.

Updates
For now I've stopped updating my mod. Will I return to modding Cosmoteer? Not sure for now. Maybe in future, when more content and features will be added (Cosmoteer is yet to tap into its full potential). In case if you want to play with Optimal Storage mod, Spartana maintains it here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2999987697

Hey guys does anybody have problems with FPS with this mode. Every time turn on this mode my FPS drops like 16/17 before that it was like 120. Could it be because of a lot of resource transported like 12K Steel. Can somebody help me with this? It is pretty much unplayable.

@wyp020610 You should be easily able to change that yourself, should take like 10 seconds. Just go to Workshop folder "799600" and mod ID "2881588880" - open folder "patch_resources" and edit the "drop_rates.rules" file. It is literally 5 numbers you have to change. Also someone literally wrote how to do it 5 comments below you, so just f*ckinng look at other comments for a second and you would never have had your "problem". Sometimes i really wonder how people survive.

With crew building enabled, deconstructing player storage is also affected by the 1/10 dropping penalty, resulting in lost resources. Could you please fix this?

Ah okay, yep, missed that. Ty

Any chance you could do a sub mod to apply this to the Star Wars conversion mod?
