Event Suppression - Fewer event popups

Tired of clicking away a bunch of useless event pop ups that you don't care about?
This mod allows you to choose which events you want to pop up in your event feed and which mods to suppress/hide away from you.

By default the mod will suppress all event messages except mission and dilemma events, these can't be suppressed as enforced by CA.

With permission from Cpecific I've ported the TWW2 mod Event Suppression over to TWW3. Little to none of the original code remains so expect new bugs and quirks with this one.


You will need Mod Configuration Tool by Groove Wizard if you want to have access to the settings menu, but the mod is not required.


After downloading the mod for the first time on you computer, NOT YOUR ACCOUNT, start the game and once you hit the main menu, quit the game.
The mod needs to get your local language and create at dictionary to translate events into your local language, and needs a restart to apply. MCT settings as a whole will not work unless this dictionary has been initialised.
If you change your language in the game settings or download the game on a clean install, you must repeat this step.

Enter the MCT settings to find the mod, enabling a "Whitelist [event]:" option will let that event pass through as normal.

Enabling the "Disable Mod" option will disable the mod until turned off again.

Enabling the "Suppress all messages" option will suppress all events, this option will override any event you have whitelisted.

Pressing "F3" will reapply the event suppression if/when it gets turned off for reasons*.

Pressing "F4" will close all event notifications that are showing.

Don't see a bug you have experienced in the list? Please notify me in the comments and I'll add the bug to the list... or fix it.
