Vector Dyanmics JP5 "Falcon"

Technically a completely different line of fighters than the JP-series that came before it, the JP-5 "Falcon" Experimental Air Dominance Fighter marks a pivotal design philosophy shift for Vector Dynamics' R&D department going forward. Shifting away from the usual cam-monitor composite display system, JP-5 utilizes a more traditional glass canopy on the front of the plane. Improving visibility and reliability.

Armed with a quad-link sequenced autocannon system and 6 3-1-1 weapon pods as well as 2 3-3-3 weapon pods, the JP-5 comes with a slight downgrade in firepower compared to previous models, but makes up for it by offering a much more modular design. Capable of changing multiple aspects of the plane configurations with a few clicks in the build menu.

The commercial version (the one you, our esteemed customer are currently purchasing) features a well-balanced loadout. Armed with 6 Vector Dyanmics "Magnum" General-purpose missiles, 6 NNTC "Thunder" Anti-ground/ship missiles, 6 NNTC "Phospor" anti-air missiles and 6 NNTC "Pulsar" anti-air missiles, this model can confidently dish out a diverse assortment of punches even against player-piloted jets. For other more specialized missions, the loadout can be customized via the build menu.

With an advanced flight stabilizer and better controls, the JP-5 is now even more maneuverable. Utilizing two quad turbofan duo-chamber jet engines, it can reach up to 185m/s with decent fuel efficiency. Of course, like all Vector Dynamics jets, mouse control is included.

Asides from slightly improved steering, the JP-5 also features better avionics, including some MFDs salvaged from a downed unknown fighter (seriously, we are still searching for the thing on the workshop) and the classical assortment of QoL features such as an automatic canopy and landing wheel system, as well as a neon-blue mood lighting inside the cockpit (toggled via a button on a instrument panel).
