Description
What this mod does is make certain units available for other factions based on reason or lore.

the following are the cross-overs:
______________________________________________________________________________________________

lesser daemons of khorne for taurox

beastmen infantry and ghorgon for khorne monogod factions

slaaneshi marauders and daemonettes for the cult of pleasure and the cult of excess

depth guard, necrofex colossus, and bloated corpse for vampire counts

dwarf miners and dwarf warriors for empire factions

high elf infantry for dark elves only if the landmark building of the shrine of asuryan is built at settlement of shrine of asuryan and it is owned by a dark elf faction

update 10/11/2022:

fimir warriors for Tzeentch, marauder berserkers for Khorne, witch elves and sisters of slaughter for Slaanesh, aspiring champions for Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh.

update 10/17/2022

allowed all cross faction units (except for high elves for dark elves) in custom battle

all monogod marauder variants for norsca

CURRENTLY WORK IN PROGESS:
skaven units for nurgle monogod factions (i need to figure out how modding nurgle units for buildings works, if you know how, please contact me)

if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. please provide with your suggestion the rationale for adding the unit to the faction.

this is only for units, not heroes

for the record, i am not going to make any new units, just make certain ones in the game available for other factions

if i do add skaven it will have to wait for the nurgle rework because its bound to mess stuff up. i havent really been working on or even playing wh3 due to the devs failure to keep the game up to date with dlcs and content. it feels very lacklsuter

hi dansmeah long time no see hope your alright and had a good start into the year of the dragon just wanted to know how the skaven units for nurgle monogod factions is going just out of interest and what do you think if the nurgle rework

i think you dont realize how much there is in a faction mod, theres more to it than units being assigned, so even if i got their permission, it wouldnt be a simple inclusion, then getting wh2 files to work with wh3...

do you think you will have any plans to expand this mod like the Dogs of War mod in Warhammer 2? That was an amazing mod im sad to see not ported over to warhammer 3

forsaken in lore are seen by people of norsca as blessed champions tho in truth they slowly become beasts or worst become chaos spawns the aeslings where led by a forsaken know as Fraener who still was able to lead them even after all the mutation he got from all the blessings he was a might chaos champion and warchief slaughtering kurgans beastmens mutants tho he was sadly killed by wulfrik i let you choose if you wont to put them in or not their is sadly no lore about if they us them but since they are seen as blessed champions i would think they would us them in raids and battles against other tribes

Huntsmen could make sense for Bretonnia, where peasants and foresters are often excellent archers and woodsmen.
Last thought, thank you for your patience, would be War Wagons for Kislev? Eastern and Central European armies have a long history of using horse drawn wagons full of troops (the Hussite Rebellion to name a noteworthy occasion), and it would make sense if a rich boyar equipped his troops with imported Repeater Rifles (and maybe Mortar variants too if you like the idea?).

Love the idea of this mod! Tons of factions use the same units besides Giants, Trolls etc :steamthumbsup:
Some potential ideas: Bulls and Maneater Ogres for Cathay, Bulls as young Ogres seeking adventure and Maneaters as veteran mercenaries (Hobgoblin Wolf Riders would also make sense here as caravan guards, bribed brigands etc.).
Some of the less powerful Chaos Dwarf artillery for Warriors of Chaos, I know they already have the Hellcannon but I'm fairly sure the WoC are the main export market for Chaos Dwarf arms.
Gryphon Legion for as many Order factions as you think appropriate could also be great, they spend most of their time working as mercenaries throughout the Old World.
