Description
W-3115-A1 Apple E

The W-3115 Apple E is a medium-range cruise missile. Unlike its predecessor W-3110, the W-3115 features more hydrogen tanks, additional thrusters to maximize maneuverability and precision. Designed for medium range battlefield use, the warhead is protected by heavy armor and
its powerful hydrogen based propulsion ensures outstanding acceleration, excellent maneuverability and reliability in all environments. The on-board camera provides imagery of the target to the commanders before the strike.

Typical range is 35 kilometers with burn time of 6 minutes, however with manual control of thrust the missile is able to strike targets as far as 150km. Two small batteries allow for full 50km antenna range for 24 minutes.

Printable, low cost and easy setup makes the Apple E an excellent choice. These missiles are guided manually via remote control and require no mods or scripts.

That trailer is better than any trailer I've seen the actual dev team release. That was awesome!

This is by far one of the best missiles I have used. The launcher is so easy to modify for use in other ships and static bases.I have even cut the launcher in half allowing 4 missiles in a compact design. The reload unit also makes it much easier during my survival campaigns. I have used other missiles that are more durable but these are inexpensive and very maneuverable while still packing a punch. These are now my go to missiles.

it can suck hydrogen through hinge

Do we just manually toss ice in them?

Awesome! I'm yet to try it but I'm commenting solely on the video of epicness right now.

Unlikely. The plates have a kinda slim collision poly, but I suppose it depends on how big the gap through the launcher is.

Also, on further study of the chassis, a decoy could be fit in towards the mid-rear near the side thrusters, assuming that enemy fire kicks in around 1km-800m, and the missile is travelling at >200m/s, that should buy the warheads enough time to hit past enemy counter fire, while possibly sacrificing it's maneuverability.

If the counter fire shears the missile in two, at least the warhead part would impact the target at high velocity, rather than losing the warhead section.

However it does make it more expensive and weighted.

Plates to cover warheads - Good idea, I haven't considered it, not sure how it would impact my reloading system, the plates might block it

Sub-grids - none on the missile itself
