Well, seems like I'll have to come up with something fitting enough to update the Resource Pack once that happens!
Here are the changes:
-Removed silent bits at the beginning/end of many tracks (mainly bosses/events) to make the loops better.
-Changed the Crimson theme to the PS1 Mountain drum tracks. I preferred Bad Rayman’s theme, but it's too intense...
-Changed the Underground Crimson theme to the Picture City + Cave drum tracks.
-Combined the Eclipse’s theme with the old PS1 Bad Rayman tracks.
-As a result, the Morning Rain only features the PS1 Jungle and Bongo Hills music.
-Swapped the Sandstorm and Underground Desert theme as it’s (arguably) more fitting this way in terms of tone.
-Swapped the Otherworldly versions of Boss 2 and Boss 1 as it matches the game’s progression more accurately.
Now there’s also a video! At last! :D
If you do not like some of these changes, you can swap the files in your folders or download the older version (link is in the video’s description/pinned comment below the Workshop one): https://youtu.be/zhGx6pR6tOA
Now that I’ve learned how to work with Steam’s text formatting, I’ve just made some improvements to the description. The track list was quite a mess to read in particular... Sorry about that.
Steam’s text editor is a bit different and limited compared to what I’m used to so it can take quite a bit of time to make a very nice-looking description when it’s so big... and I always make them big. :P
Anyway, if for some reason Terraria receives *yet another* "final" update which happens to expand the soundtrack again, you can count on me to update this bundle! :D
Here are a few tips:
-Reload the game to hear the original world map theme (the music switches to "Redemption" after the first loop or after enabling this pack). This file has been tweaked for a very cool "effect" when launching the game! It's even more fitting if the first screen happens to show the Hallow!
-By dragging the Sun or the Moon on the title screen, you can switch to the Beta World Map's theme.
-If you hear nothing, make sure that the music volume didn't set itself automatically to 0%. It seems to be a common issue with audio resource packs in Terraria. I've made sure to edit every file so it shouldn't happen, but you can never be 100% sure and so tell me if there's any problem.
