Building Slots Extended - Six Building Slots for Minor Settlements Submod

Description
IMPORTANT: This mod was made to be compatible with Mixu's Unlocker andwon't work without it!

This mod works with ChaosRobie's Immortal Empires Expanded and The Old World campaigns!

NOTE: This is submod, not a standalone version. Use this submod only together with Building Slots Extended mod.

Is all you ever wanted was to have just a couple more buildings in that little settlement deep in your lands? Maybe you want to build walls in every Minor settlement without losing your actual precious slots? Say no more, just use this mod!

This mod gives all Minor settlements 6 building slots instead of 4 (yes, including Ogres, My Lord!). Isn't this the dream?

F.A.Q.

1. What is the correct load order for this mod to work?

The correct on is the default one which is:
1. Mixu's Unlocker - MIXER.
2. Building Slots Extended.
3. Building Slots Extended - Six Building Slots for Minor Settlements Submod.
4. Mod Configuration Tool

2. I have more slots / less slots / no slots / CTD / no power, your mod is broken!

I will be glad to assist you with your issue, but before writing something like this please check and try the following:
a. You have all required mods for BSE to work downloaded and activated: Mixu's Unlocker - MIXER, Building Slots Extended, Building Slots Extended - Six Building Slots for Minor Settlements Submod, Mod Configuration Tool.
b. All of these four mods are updated. Be aware that Steam sometimes misbehaves and is not updating mods automatically, so please double check this.
c. The load order is correct as you can see above.
d. Try to launch the game with only these four mods to exclude any possible mod conflicts.
e. Try to launch a new campaign. BSE works with startpos files which are loading and processing at the beginning of a campaign, so it won't work for existing saves if you didn't use Mixer before downloading BSE.

3. Settlement UI for me is to big in provinces with a lot of settlements and partially covers other UI elements, but on your screenshots it's not the case!

There is the UI Scale setting in the game's options, changing it will increase/decrease the size of all UI elements. The only issue is that, for some unknown reason, Creative Assembly decided to lock this setting for players with screen resolution lower than 2560x1440. So if you're one of those players then, sadly, you're out of luck as there is no other known workaround for that currently.

If you find a bug please first check with the troubleshoot steps in the F.A.Q. section above, and, if it still persists, then let me know in the dedicated Bug Reports thread.

@DeuxMor, it should be as long as Radious is compatible with Mixer. But I don't know what settlement-related stuff Radious changes, so there still may be some issues.

Is this mod compatible with Radious Mods?

@louis.sica, I see that Ramen put some minor settlement stuff in 20 slots version which can affect this mod (maybe just visually but still). Try putting this mod above BSE 20 slots version, I think that should do it.

Myxameno, so an update. I placed the mods in the order you suggested in the description and I played a new campaign as Malekith. Still have the same issue. The 20 slot major city worked but the 6 minir city still does not work for me. Is there something else im overlooking
Myxameno  [author] 1 Jun @ 1:11pm
@louis.sica, who are you playing as? If it's a modded race then see my previous comment. Otherwise it should work. Does it work if you start a new campaign with only this, Mixer, and MCT?
Myxameno  [author] 1 Jun @ 1:08pm
@CorrinRoth, you need BSE Extra Races submod for modded races like Araby to have additional slots.

Hello, I have no idea why this mod is NOT providing 6 slot sin my minor cities. I changed the order to a recommendation you had in a previous post, didn't work. I have no idea whats wrong. I started a new ame, still only 4 slots for minor cities. The 20 building slots mod of yours works fine, this one does not work. Am I doing something wrong?
CorrinRoth 1 Jun @ 4:24am
Hey, loving the mod - thank you!! Any chance you can see why it doesnt work for the Araby mod? I see AI with the six minor city slots but then I take it over and it reverts back to 4. Many thanks.

@John, so after scouring half of the game's database I can come to only why it doesn't work even though it should. Since startpos changes require modder to set maximum number of slots in a region SEPARATELY for each region, I can only assume that Mixu didn't increase the number of slots in MIXER for the Oak of Ages (because honestly why would he from his point of view, almost everyone have only 1 or 2 slots there and I doubt he thought about beastmen in that context).

TLDR: I assume that the Oak of Ages doesn't have its maximum possible number of building slots changed in MIXER.

@John, all the changes in the DB are there but it doesn't work for some reason. I spent some time investigating and I can't find the reason why it won't work yet. I may need to investigate further when I have more time but right now it seems like a CA issue, probably some connections are missing from DB for this specific settlement building.
