Description

Part of the Skaven Clans mod series.

UPDATE!
I (Stratovarius) remembered this mod from WH2, and since it hadn't been touched in over two years, spent the day getting it updated for Warhammer 3. All work on WH2 Skaven Clans is by Hoon, the mod's original creator. I have updated everything for WH3 and added new traits for Clans Carrion, Gritus, Krizzor, Morbidus, Skrat, Treecherik, and Verms (the Skaven Clans added in WH3). Text below this point and all artwork is credit to Hoon.

WHAT IS THIS
As new content powercreep doesn't seem to end, the Skaven Warlord went from Generic combat lord to "why even bother?" Aside from the 10% Casualty Replenishment, the Skaven Warlord has no advantage over any other lords even with a boneripper mount. Why bother when Warlock master is deadlier mounted while casting spells and the Master Assassin can delete enemies on foot?

HOW DOES IT WORK
Now every time you hire a Skaven Warlord, they will earn a new clan-only trait that will make your Skaven Warlord with a unique trait that buffs your warlord or the army he is commanding. Each clan has their own trait (sometimes multiple variations) so it adds a small buff and flavour to all the warlords you're hiring so you don't feel like you're wasting a lord slot.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CONFEDERATE WITH ANOTHER CLAN OR BRIBE THEM AS ESHIN
When you confederate with another clan, all their warlords retain their Clan Trait so your new warlords are even more unique compared to your own clan warlord. This means confederating with minor clans who have a bunch of warlords isn't such a bad idea anymore as one of those unique traits might be something you're looking for.

WHY NOT DO THIS FOR GREYSEERS, MASTER WARLOCKS AND MASTER ASSASSINS
We really don’t need another reason not to use Warlords, and I feel like those lord-types are unique enough.

WHY DID YOU PICK THESE TRAIT EFFECTS?
Trait effects were picked with in mind of the actual Clan's lore. For example, Clan Ferrik is very well known for mining deposits of iron which allows their warlords to cover face to toe in thick armour. Clan Mordkin and their clan history with the undead made them much more competent against undead opponents. Clan Mange are incredibly loyal to the highest bidder which I translated as near-perma loyalty! And it goes on for the other clans.
