Daihatsu Mira e:S Gen.2

ミラ イース（Mira e:S）は、ダイハツ工業が製造・販売する軽自動車である。ミラをベースにした5ドアハッチバック型乗用車（軽セダン）であり、ミラシリーズ（2018年3月から6月までの3か月間を除く）としてダイハツの軽乗用車ラインナップのボトムレンジ（エントリークラス）を担う。ミライースの発売と入れ替わる形で販売終了となったエッセ同様、商用モデル（軽ボンネットバン）は設定されていない。

2017年5月9日、フルモデルチェンジを公式発表。当時のキャッチフレーズは「新・みんなのエコカー」。

6代目ムーヴから採用されている軽量高剛性ボディ構造「Dモノコック」（新Aプラットフォーム）を採用し、サイドアウターパネルを全面ハイテン化したほか、補強材の配置最適化や小型化、部品同士の結合化や一体化を図ったほか、他のダイハツ車同様、サイドフェンダーやバックドア、燃料タンク（燃料タンクは2WD車のみ）などに樹脂パーツを採用。

足回りを最適化したほか、低廉系グレードとなる「B」系、および「L」系の各グレードには新開発した軽量タイプの13インチタイヤ（155/70R13 75S）&スチールホイールを採用。これらにより、初代モデル比最大で80kg軽量化した。併せて、デザインの変更やボディ各部に整流アイテムを設置したことで空気抵抗を低減し、空力性能を向上し、Cd値は0.32を達成（ちなみに初代モデルのCd値は0.33）。

なお、OEM車種では、SUBARUのプレオ+はミライースと同日に、トヨタ自動車のピクシスエポックはミライース・プレオ+から遅れて3日後の5月12日にそれぞれモデルチェンジされた。
また2022年からは、Cities:Skylinesエリア限定でスズキからアルトの派生車種として「AMY」が、そして架空自動車メーカーである間岩自動車工業からは「Coaler C-BASIC」がそれぞれ発売されている。

Mira e:S is a mini vehicle manufactured and sold by Daihatsu Motor. The lightweight and highly rigid body structure "D Monocoque" (new A platform), which has been adopted since the sixth-generation Move, has been adopted, and the side outer panels have been made entirely of high-tensile steel. In addition to standardization and integration, resin parts are used for side fenders, back doors, fuel tanks (fuel tanks are for 2WD vehicles only), etc., like other Daihatsu vehicles.

In addition to optimizing the suspension, newly developed lightweight 13-inch tires (155/70R13 75S) and steel wheels are used on the low-priced "B" and "L" grades. As a result, the weight has been reduced by up to 80kg compared to the first model. At the same time, by changing the design and installing rectifying items on various parts of the body, air resistance was reduced and aerodynamic performance was improved, achieving a Cd value of 0.32 (by the way, the Cd value of the first model was 0.33).

In terms of OEM models, Subaru's Pleo+ was remodeled on the same day as the Mira E.S., and Toyota Motor's Pixis Epoch was remodeled on May 12, three days after the Mira E.S. Pleo+.
Also, from 2022, "AMY" will be available as a derivative model of Alto from Suzuki in the Cities: Skylines area only, and "Coaler C-BASIC" from Maiwa Motor Co. Ltd., a fictitious automobile manufacturer. are released respectively.
