I do not have freight trains included yet, I wanted to focus on the passenger service first since those follow a defined schedule while freight is ad hoc. Therefore, the freight would naturally conform (slightly) around the passenger schedules.
You are correct that I did merge some switches together to save space.
There are also trains going through Quantico which would have to go backwards, cross tracks and then proceed to the next required platform. Either the platform no. is wrong, or we need another crossing.
Thanks again.
universal crossovers (double crossovers are the "X" crossovers like between Franconia-
Springfield and Lorton). Only place that double crossovers exist would be Washington Terminal
area. I imagine you used these to save space, and that works too.
* I haven't seen any freights yet but, if you have them, did you make them long? They should be
of substantial length to make it interesting...
Keep up the great work!!
* VRE trains stopping at Union Station need a place to go afterwards (I'm guessing it would be the
VRE Day Siding but that should be pointed out).
* There is still the issue of trains from tracks 10-15 not having a route to tks 3-5 to Baltimore (ex:
MARC 400 starts at tk 11 and needs to go to tk 4 To Baltimore). Might just be the simple
addition of a crossover to fix things (one additional tile from track 15 to connect to track 3).
