Iranian Embassy, London

Description
16 Princess Gate, London, was the scene of the now famous "Iranian Embassy Siege", with a group of six gun-men holding 26 members of staff hostage for six days. The siege culminated in the execution of "Operation Nimrod", in which the British SAS stormed the multi-story building, killing all but one of the gun-men and rescuing the hostages. The embassy at Princess Gate has been recreated, as accurately as possible, from descriptions and floor plans in Rusty Firmin and Will Pearson's book, "Go Go Go! - The SAS and the Iranian Embassy".

Mod Contents:
------------------------------------
- Five floors of the embassy, plus the roof, modelled as 6 separate entities for assembly in the editor
- Two breachable "shoot-house" doors and a "Shoot-house" window, designed for training scenarios in the manner of the SAS preparation before the siege

Features:
------------------------------------
- All doors within the building are lockable if the player is holding an "Item_Keys" object in their inventory
- All locked doors may be breached with a shot-gun slug (breached doors can not be re-locked)
- All external windows and doors can be breached explosively to gain entrance (Requires ACE3).

Notes on placing the floors:
------------------------------------
Because the building is modelled in six separate pieces, it is important to get the components lined up properly in the editor. It is recommended to do this by manually entering the x,y,z coordinates of the floors in the properties tab, rather than trying to place the floors free-hand.

As long as all the floors have the same x and y coordinates, and rotation, the floors will be aligned. The required z values for each of the floors to align vertically are:

ground floor - > 0.0
first floor - > 4.0
second floor - > 7.3
third floor - > 10.6
fourth floor - > 13.9
roof: - > 17.2

Notes on locking doors:
-----------------------------------

There are two ways to lock the embassy doors, depending on whether the mission builder wants the locked door to be breachable. For non-breachable locked doors, use any of the 'built in' door locking methods in 3den editor - Set a door to be locked in the "special states" tab of the building properties, or put the following line of code in the init. field of the building:

this setVariable ["bis_disabled_door_#door", 1];

where #door is replaced with the number of the door you want to be locked.

For locked doors that may be breached with a shot-gun, put the following line of the code into the init. field:

this setVariable ["EMB_lock_Door_#door", 1];

Notes on explosive breaching:
-----------------------------------

Any window on any of the 5 floors can be set to be breachable by using the "addBreachingAction" function included in the mod. To make a window breachable, place the following command in the init. box of the embassy floor the window is on:

[this, #window, #angle, #offset] call EMB_fnc_addBreachingAction;

- replace #window with the number of the window you want to be breachable. (1 is front left window, numbered anticlockwise around the building)
- replace #angle with the required rotation of the explosive (0 at front of building, 180 at rear). Mostly cosmetic
- replace #offset with the distance the charge should sit off the window (0.1 works well).

Any player who is carrying a SLAM mine and an M57 firing device in their inventory will be able to place the charge using scroll interact. Detonate the explosive using ACE explosives menu.
