Description
Welcome to Nirn in 113th year of the First Era :

Part XVII: Road to Akavir:
There are 3 routes from Akavir to Tamriel. The southwern throu half-sunken subcontinent of Yneslea. The western throu Cathnoquey Archipelago. And finally the northern throu Esroniet. Because Esral from the northern archipelago are the weakest of the islaner nations tsaesci chose Esroniet as their base from which they carried out numerous slave raids on the northern Tamriel. The Archipelago is also close to the lands inhabited by the Kamal. In the ancient times Kamal and Tsaesci were one nation but Tsaesci decided to rebel against dragons and steal their power. Those who stayed loyal to children of Akatosh were chased out into northern Akavir inhabited by Jotnar. The giants are often the majority in Kamal armies thats why outsiders often confuse the two races. The isles are also source of spices, tea and unique breed of red guar. Whoever controls the Esroniet controls the road to Akavir.

New Confusing Features:
1) 2d Character portraits that are connected to traits and not to culture group to better portray some non-human races of Tamriel.
2) New unit system. Now you do not only need to have a resource but also sometimes you have to integrate correct culture or worship a correct Deadric Lord like Meridia or Molag Bal.
3)Now you can play as alessians by starting as Al-Cyrod. Nedic faction near Sancre Tor.
4)To invade Tamriel as Ra-Gada you need to start as Yokudan empire and hunt down the Sinismer remnants. Then you may choose to leave the Yokuda for Tamriel.

@DukeMcGregor That's something I noticed in more-vanilla versions of some Paradox games. Seems to be related to culture groups and the like. I know in UE4 Extended Timeline I could never build a port on the east coast as Khazaria, which was infuriating... Then all the internal conflicts!
But that could also just be "why would you need a boat on the Caspian Sea?" I haven't played Extended Timeline in a while.
And I haven't really played this yet. I need more coffee

Fantastic mod! So much attention to detail and love of the subject material, this mod was a great surprise to find. I have noticed though that a great deal of provinces bordering water don't have the ability to construct ports of any kind, aside from there not being many portraits for beast races thats really my only gripe. Thanks for your work!

Yeah thats the worst issue. I looked for some 3d artist who could make these but since the active development for imperator ended there is lack of them. There was someone who said that he is able to make graphics for sloads for example but he was never heard again. I'm able to change the graphics if I get them from somewhere. Eventually change the textures a bit but thats it. Maybe with some support I could leard to use blender. I'll see if I can get those models from somewhere.

I checked Linebon with the nearby goblin tribe and port works as intended. There is a file in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Imperator/logs/error.log the game records every issue there. The one that broke the game should be aither in the beginning or the end of file. I might have already fixed the issue in the newer version that should be ready as soon as I'll finish mission tree. You can join discord and post error.log there so I'll check whats wrong.

I believe I tried to build it in Linebon. I can't be for certain it was building a port that crashed the game or if something else coincided with the crash, but I tried it twice and it seemed to happen when I built a port both times.

In which province? Maybe that province have some mistake in port definition. That happened before.

seems to crash whenever I try to build a port as a goblin tribe, but it might be something else happening that there

This new map is perfect. Just perfect. I always love to find some atmoran stuff and those empty areas fits well for the realistic gameplay. I modded the game for myself many times, always hated Mauryan conquest on Iranian plateu, then I find the same solution of emptying the borders and costly colonizations. Good job.
