Introduction
The Mk 2 grenade is a fragmentation hand grenade used by the U.S. armed forces during World War II and in later conflicts including the Vietnam War. It was manufactured with grooves in the cast iron, which gives it the appearance of pineapple fruit, hence the common nickname of the "pineapple" grenade. It is also commonly referred to as a "frag" grenade.

The Plasma Grenade, aka "Sticky Grenade" is a plasma-based smart grenade that adheres to anything it comes in contact with. When primed, the plasma grenade starts to vent its coolant and, once discharged, the plasma generator inside destabilizes and the grenade detonates. Tag a foe, or a friend!

The EMP Grenade is an explosive device that sends out a brief burst of electromagnetic interference that disrupts communications and damages electrical systems. It also adheres to anything it comes in contact with.

Composition-C4 is a common variety of the plastic explosive family known as Composition C, which uses RDX as its explosive agent. C-4 is relatively insensitive and can be detonated only by a detonator.

The Proximity Mine is an explosive device placed on the ground or other surface and is designed to destroy or disable enemy targets, ranging from combatants to unarmored vehicles, as they pass over or near it.

The Shape Charge is is a precision explosive designed for breaching through singular blocks, such as doors, but is capable of destroying other targets as well.

The Smoke Grenade is a signaling and concealment device that uses smoke to mark locations or obscure objects or personnel from view.

The flare is a signaling and illumination device that burns at extremely high temperatures.

MK2 Frag Grenade
  • Fuse Delay: 4 to 5 seconds.
  • Damage:
    • To Characters: 80 points explosive damage
    • To Blocks: 400 points explosive damage if block is a door, otherwise 240 points
    • To Voxels: Minimal damage
  • Blast Radius: 7m
Plasma Grenade
  • Fuse Delay: 4 to 5 seconds
  • Damage:
    • To Characters: 120 if character is tagged, otherwise 60 points explosive damage
    • To Blocks: 300 points explosive damage if block is a door, otherwise 180 points
    • To Voxels: No damage
  • Blast Radius: 5m
EMP Grenade
  • Fuse Delay: 4 to 5 seconds
  • Damage:
    • To Characters: 5 points explosive damage, 50% suit energy drain over 7 seconds
    • To Bots: 5 points explosive damage, and stunned for 10 seconds
    • To Blocks: 5 points explosive damage, rendered inoperable if functional block for 30 seconds
    • To Voxels: No damage
  • Blast Radius: 7m
C4
  • Fuse Delay: Until detonated by detonator (one at a time in order of placement)
  • Damage:
    • To Characters: 2500 points explosive damage
    • To Blocks: 2500 points explosive damage
    • To Voxels: Medium damage
  • Blast Radius: 10m
Proximity Mine
  • Fuse Delay: Until triggered by enemy within blast radius
  • Damage:
    • To Characters: 250 points explosive damage
    • To Blocks: 250 points explosive damage
    • To Voxels: Minimal damage
  • Blast Radius: 5m
Shape Charge
  • Fuse Delay: 7 seconds
  • Damage:
    • To Characters: 500 points explosive damage
    • To Blocks: Complete destruction of doors, otherwise 500 points explosive damage
    • To Voxels: No damage
  • Blast Radius: 5m
Smoke Grenade
  • Multiple colors
  • Will billow smoke for up to 60 seconds
Flare
  • Orange / Red flare color
  • Lights area up to 50m

How To Use
  • Grenades are consumable items that you can craft in any assembler with the right components.
  • You can add them to your toolbar! Look for the Grenade Mod category in the G-Menu :)
  • Consuming a grenade item will spawn a grenade (block) in the direction you are looking
  • If you have a tool equipped when you consume the item, it will be re-equipped after the animation plays
  • You can Use any live grenade that comes near you to kick it away, which also adds a small amount of extra time before detonation!
  • Any player within the blast radius of a live grenade will have a GPS marker shown on HUD as a warning
  • If a grenade takes any damaged it will detonate

If you want to use the models from this mod, you can obtain them in their original form by CTRL-Clicking on the links in the credit section. SBC edits to change the recipe for the grenade blueprint or the mass of the grenade block are fine, just make sure you load the SBC edit mod *after* this one :)

I made a submod for this mod to change how the flare illuminates, do I have your permission to publish it?

If you say yes, then the only file that I would publish is a modded version of your "HandGrenade_Particles.sbc".

I modded it only for myself, but I would share it if you allow.

I think you are mixing terms. The flare gun is vanilla, it's true, the fireworks (flare launcher) is as well, this however is where including all DLC that list ends in the similarities to this mod.

If this gets updated, can we have the Flare Gun removed or replaced with a 40mm grenade launcher? Asking because the flare gun is now a vanilla thing.

I know, a very late response, it is not WC incompatible either, they will still blow things up, they are not something wc looks for but as they do not use a targeting system it's fine. Though one could potentially bypass shields with these. A triggering animation for the c4 reciever would be handy thoguh... but anyway they work fine with wc
