Dark Valley (Lost Alpha)

Description
A gloomy area just east of the Garbage, with the Truck Cemetery in the north, and the Darkscape and Waystation to the south. It is a place frequented by some of the most experienced stalkers, though they are outnumbered by the bandits, who have taken the construction site to the north for their base. To the east lies a derelict administration block and factory complex. Legends say that this complex was the hideout of the Monolith group before they crossed the Barrier, and that there’s an underground lab buried within somewhere. No one has returned from there alive though, so no one can tell for sure just what nasty surprises await.

This map is a recreation of the Dark Valley level from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl builds by GSC Game World. It is featured in the Lost Alpha mod. Due to Hammer/Source limitations, the map may differ from the original level. It can be found under the Roleplay section, as rp_darkvalley_la.

you should make a custom map at some point combining metro and stalker as i love the feel of both universes as they are very similar being dark, dirty, Paranormal/anomaly filled, and set in eastern Europe.

Why does the light in the X-18 turn off for only a few seconds if I press the button in admin room? How to fix that? Or maybe make it longer?

In one of the screenshots, there is an eerie green light in the lab, but it doesn't appear in the map, is there a switch I'm missing, or is it something that was removed.

Ah wait I think it was because I was compiling my own map and when I loaded up yours Gmod simply just broke, but thank you for the response man. I appreciate it! :)

Are you sure it isn't another addon affecting your game? I only included an updated AI node graph and a map thumbnail, your issue shouldn't possibly be caused by my update. The fog and rendering work fine on my end. Could you provide some screenshots?

Hey Shen, one issue I found on your map after you updated it is the fog itself. The map renders everything and I'm getting a whopping 30 FPS (with no other mods)

Mind taking a gander and fixing that? We'd all appreciate it :soviet:
