Description
***Generation update and cleanup***

Almost direct port from my WH2 mod. The slann are supposed to be the strongest magic users in the WH lore so I added some spells to them plus increased the effects of their generation.

With the changes to the magic system I decided to give them access to bound spells instead of more normal spells through their skill tree in order to minimise invasiveness. When you pick the skills bellow you get the normal effects plus access to a bound spell that makes thematic sense.

Telekinenis gives access to Wind Blast (4 uses).

Reserves of Eldritch Energy gives access to Chain Lightning (2 uses).

Soul of Stone gives access to Pha's Protection (4 uses).

Harrowing Scrutiny gives access to Enfeebling Foe (1 use).

Arcane Convergence gives access to the Comet of Cassadora (1 use).

Higher State of Consciousness gives -20% to all spell cooldowns.

The spells are available to all Slann since they share those skills. This means that Lord Mazdamundi and Kroak have even more room to play with their devastating powers.

***Generation details***

Slann generation now gives more winds of magic reserves, spell intensity and provides research speed. The reason for this is that Lizardmen research is basically interpretation of the Great Plan by reading tablets. Older Slann are better at this, some might even straight out remember parts of it. Kroak was literally talking to the Old Ones directly, before they left the planet. Specifically:

4th gen gives: +20 reserves, +10% research speed, +20% spell intensity.
3rd gen gives: +30 reserves, +15% research speed, +20% spell intensity.
2nd gen and Mazda: +40 reserves, +20% research speed, +40% spell intensity.
Kroak: +50 reserves, +25% research speed, +50% spell intensity.

This indirectly buffs two Lizardmen factions. First, the faction of Lord Mazdamundi since now you enjoy +20% research speed from turn 1 and the faction of Itza that starts with Kroak (now you have +25% research speed as soon as you select his First generation skill).

Also made the Slann melee attack stronger (deals AP magical dmg) and more dangerous to infantry (larger spash radius).

Should be compatible with most mods as I have made sure to minimize the db lines affected. As long as the mods do not touch Slann you should be good.

New update: Cleaned up the effects of slann generation. Recruiting one should feel good and a big deal and now I believe it is closer to that goal than ever.

Hi! Great to see someone is fixing slann. I don't know why tw makes them so bad. Also could be nice another mode with access to all lores like in the tabletop. Yep, sixth edition lizardmen player here!

you can just give the slans 2 levels, leaving the croak 3, according to the lore it is not unique for the croak, it's just that the croak casts its stronger version, but the call of the phoenix from the slans looks as ridiculous as possible

@mmi.05 Yes that is a possibility but I think that Deliverance should remain unique to Kroak. I will try to figure something for the future.

if there is such an opportunity, could you change the higher magic to the slaans, the one that right now they have these are the high elves, well, what kind of call for a phoenix can a slaan have, according to the lore he has deliverance there, just you can add a croak spell instead of a call,

If the other Slann mod has also minimised the db lines then they should be able to work together.

I have kept the number of uses unchanged from what CA uses for those spells to keep things the same across the board. You need to find the table that dictates that which is not part of this mod. I do not remember it of the top of my head. Maybe you can ask in the modding discord.

Is there a way to make it so that the spells are just bound without limited use? If you cannot do it I don't mind changing the values myself if I could be told how.

"OP Slann skills" which buffs Deliverance of Itza and adds a few more passive improvements to the Slann specific skills.
