Project 171 Light Cruiser

Here is the "Project 171" light cruiser design of the French Navy.


The design was drawn up in 1919, and would form the basis of the Duguay-Trouin-class cruisers. This design never had an official name due to it being a preliminary design, but in World of Warships, she goes under the name "Friant" since the name was used on an old protected cruiser, and was never used on any French cruiser during WW2.

The design in game is also based on a hypothetical refit had she served during the inter-war period, so I took off some parts of the ship that were not historically built during the ships design.
