Old Swedish ochre houses - row pack

Description
A collection of 14 row houses. These are loosley based on real buildings, but are made generic to be as versatile as possible. Made for my Sthlm1925 project.

The name "ochre" refers to the color pigment used in the plaster.

They have identical textures (d, n, s, c, i) 1024x1024, lod 128x128 and also share textures with my other "Old Swedish ochre" packs. Use the patched version of the Loading Screen Mod to enable texture sharing.

tris: main ca 500 - 1500, lods 116 - 227

Very nice! Made some beautiful blocks with these.

One problem for me was that the ochre houses upgraded to other types of buildings even when the discrict was marked with the "ochre theme", but it was easily fixed by marking the houses as "Historical". Also plopped some of the larger ones/higher levels to get the ones I desired, which worked fine.

Oh I understand! Thanks for clarification and apologies for my mistrust :) I have looked up the addresses and found a few more buildings scaled like these (e.g. Wollmar Yxkull gatan 41, Östgötagatan 23a) and they indeed in reality look "out of scale" with later ones. More kudos to you for the great job on the assets!

Thanks for the feedback. I know they seem small, but I've actually measured them. These are ment to be the really old 18th century buildings, and they are smaller than newer ones from around 1900. Examples: Bondegatan 30 and 32, Bastugatan 48, Åsgögatan 146, Katarina sjukhus between Brännerigatan and Bjurholmsgatan, and some buildings at Yttersta tvärgränd and on Mariaberget.

I will make larger/newer buildings later. Also, I think many assets (including the some of the prefabs) are too large.

Hi! It's me again I have placed a lot of these houses in my town and they looked a bit off size-wise compared to other assets. I had a feeling your houses are too small despite the window heights roughly lining up with other Workshop European townhouses. I went to Google Earth to verify my intuitions: I used the ruler to measure width and depth of buildings in central Stockholm, some random ones in Vasastan and Södermalm and I believe you should scale up the buildings by 50%. Buildings with 7 columns of windows were around 20-25 meters wide in GE, while your assets with 7 window columns are 2 cells wide, which equals 16 meters. Depth of the houses in the same area was always around 12-15 meters, so again 50% more than your 1 tile (8 m). I hope that's helpful to you, the meshes and textures are very well done to serve as generic Swedish "city fillers" they just look a bit off next to other buildings.

I'm happy they are coming to good use! It would be cool to see what you all are building, drop me some links! :-)

Thank you for all the Stockholm packs! I am building a small Swedish-styled town and these are going to be irreplacable, I could not find any houses which would match the building style and now you drop enough buildings to create an entire district theme.

Snyggt!

Yes, exactly - using MoveIt to get commercial/office bottom floors for a more alive city (imagine Götgatan or Folkkungagatan for instance).
Here is one asset;

My computer is on maintenance atm, but I'l see if I can find some more pics if you need.

More is coming! But it takes some time :-)
@skallben Do you mean something like: you use move it to put a low (single floor) building inside a bigger residential house? (And I make room for this in my models). Do you have an image example?

Thanks for these beauties!! I would also love some of the iconic houses on the Mariaberget in Stockholm.
