I Wanna Be Annoying

Description
Are you looking for a way to play a harmless prank on your friends?

Is the Wilson, who does nothing but sitting in your base and taking your daily meatballs, too annoying for you?

Want to give players, who keep asking for help and items, a taste of their own medicine?


                                              Then this is just the right mod for you!


Use this mod to spam actions and to annoy the hell out of your fellow teammates.

A list of all the spam available:
Key*
Effect
Numpad /
Disables all the spam you use.
Numpad 7
Equip and unequip your golden tool quickly to create a ringing sound. Requires a golden tool in your inventory.
Numpad 8
Examine random objects around you to spam your character's voice.
Numpad 9
Use random/predefined emotes to spam your character's emote voice.
Numpad *
Switch between Random, Yawn, Sleepy, Pose and Happy to change the emote you want to spam. The function '/annoyemote' or '/ae' can be used to select an emote which isn't included in the list.
Numpad 4
Hover above a sign and use this button to spam the text written on that sign.
Numpad 5
Open and close containers quickly to spam their opening/closing sound.
Numpad 6
An unique special spam attack for certain characters. Currently only includes Wigfrid and Wormwood.
Numpad +
Increases the speed of your spam.
Numpad -
Reduces the speed of your spam.
*The key layout can be changed in the mod settings.

On top of that, this mod also comes with a command to instantly write a list of predefined texts (mostly based on common DST newcomers) on signs.

To make use of it, write down the following command in your chat:
/annoyingsigntext
, or simply:
/ast
and attach a number between 1 and 11, or the character 'r' for a random number, at the end of the command and then build or start writing on any sign to write the text on the sign. A vaild choice will display the selected text for ~2.5 seconds.

Example:
/ast 1

Hints:
  • Best to be used during night while everyone is cramped together at the Fire Pit.
  • Works good in combination with the Keep Following mod for annoying players on the go.
  • Make sure to disable your annoyance every now and then since the amount of RPCs you can send is limited and will end up being stuck for some time without the ability to move or do other things if you don't do so.

Special Features:
  • No mute button: Users of this mod get the chance to fully experience how annoying they are!

A: There were just too many fans out there, especially in Klei Public Servers, who begged me to release this mod for them.

idk why but my game crashes whenever i use the ast command

@Old Surehand: Klei servers do crash all the time and I can't do anything to fix that. Better contact Klei and ask them to fix their servers and their game for once.

few things: one, very easy to read the LUA (and to add text!)
two, the game crashes if you're not in a server and press any custom keybinds

Hi, I'm Wendy from Red Wendy's.

I got your mod and edited the ast 1 line in the lua, but it displays awkwardly. The bottom line is slid to the left by 8 characters. I can't figure this out bc my INT is 4. Pls hapl Wendy.
