Description
No longer actively maintained - but probably still works
I do no longer update my mods to support new content. That said, almost all my mods basically never need actual updating after patches. So this mod will very likely still work, just not affect recently added content. I do start the game once after patches to check if my mods cause crashes, and intend to keep fixing those critical problems if they arise.

Disables autoresolve under certain conditions that are configurable by the player; every option can separately be enabled or disabled for maximum customization
-if your faction leader (LL) is involved in the battle
-if the attacking and defending forces are similar in strength (close battle)
-if the battle is at a major settlement
-if an AI Legendary Lord is involved in the battle

Using the Mod Configuration Tool, the options can be enabled/disabled and the threshold set how close attackers and defenders have to be in strength for the battle to be considered close. Army strength is measured by the custom battle cost of the involved units.

By default the option for major settlements is not active, and a battle is considered close if the stronger side is less than 30% stronger than the weaker one.

In the pre-battle panel the autoresolve button will be unresponsive if the conditions are met. By hovering with the mouse over the map terrain preview button, you can see the reason(s) for autoresolve being unavailable as a tooltip text.

Fighting all battles becomes tedious by the late game, so the player is tempted to just autoresolve everything. On the other hand, completely disabling autoresolve forces many very boring battles on the player. With this mod you can force yourself to always fight some battles while still being able to autoresolve many others.

Also, some army compositions are strong in autoresolve but not actually so strong in manual battle, and being forced to sometimes fight manually can help you to not cheese the game with crap armies optimized for autoresolve.

Compatible with everything that doesn't also manipulate the autoresolve button.
