All you'd need to try modding is Rusted Pack File Manager, free from github.com and the Assembly Kit for WH3, free from Steam (under "Tools"). Set preferences up correctly, restart the app and create the "Dependency cache" for WH3 and you're ready to go

Just make sure to start with a dead-simple .pack file not to get overwhelmed! Like "Stormfly's Limited Unit Roster" or a mod which just hides some vanilla units from recruiting, or a double unit size patch are the simplest kind of mods.... <3

If you keep things simple, e.g. assigning a faction (or race) to have access to a building (e.g. a new one like you said or a building that usually other factions have access to) and assigning units - whether "new" from the mod or existing vanilla or modded units in the game - to make them available for faction(s) within that race to recruit could be realised with the most SIMPLEST of mods, plus that would keep things compatible

Hey @shanz just wanted to say it's maybe a somewhat unusual suggestion for Red and smth he just doesn't have any time or capacity for, but pretty much anything around buildings (and the units they allow to recruit) can be pretty easily modded, yes. So what you describe is no problem.

Even if grumpy bear here doesn't sound amazed, let me be the guy that tells you: it sounds like you have a litte mod idea there, maybe you can make it flourish into something that will soon blossom here on the Workshop!

You can answer the question for yourself: are there buildings that only specific dark elve factions have?
I don't really plan to change the system here because of one new DLC.
-> at base this is "just a basic unit mod", it should stay simple but compatible

Hello, just wondering; would there be a way to allow these units for recruitment in the "temples" of other Druchii factions, for exemple, after confederating Morathi?

I don't even know if this is possible, but, I know in the new DLC, Ostankya doesn't have access to some buildings unless she has at least one major city in Kislev, maybe there is a way to implement a similar mechanic in a mod?

Anyway, If it is doable and you'd do it, I would be grateful! If not, then, thank you for reading anyway!

Does this require an update?

Yep seems that I deleted these entries during the port, my bad.
Fixed version is up.

Thank you for the report.
