Arizona

Description
Arizona, the Champe'en of Foenum's Prairie from Them's Fightin' Herds, joins the fight in Rivals!

Arizona is a middleweight, quick rushdown character. Her attacks are decently quick and hit decently hard.

Arizona's gimmick is her magic meter. This meter allows her to use her Forward and Down special moves, along with powered up versions of her Forward and Down Strongs. It starts empty and fills upon landing hits with Neutral Special, up to a maximum of 3 stacks.

SPECIAL MOVES

Neutral Special: Lasso
Arizona's signature command grab, and her only way to fill up Magic aside from successfully parrying an opponent's attack. Has good range for a command grab.

Forward Special: Magic Dash (Uses 1 Magic Stack)
A simple, intangible dash forward with a weak hitbox. Despite it's simplicity (or perhaps because of that), it's an incredibly versatile move.

Up Special: Rebound
Arizona spins upwards and ends with a kick, not too unlike Olympia's Up Special

Down Special: Counter (Uses 1 Magic Stack)
A simple counterattack, tanking a hit and ramming the opponent with a stronger rebuttal if used with correct timing.

OTHER NOTABLE MOVES

Forward Strong: Headbuck C/D (D Version Uses 2 Magic Stacks)
If you have 2 or more magic, using Forward Strong will result in Headbuck D instead of C. Headbuck D, in comparison to Headbuck C, travels further and hits harder, in addition to having 1 hit of super armor.

Down Strong: Stomp C/D (D Version Uses 2 Magic Stacks)
If you have 2 or more magic, using Down Strong will result in Stomp D instead of C. Stomp D, in comparison to Stomp C, has wider range, hits harder, and results in *much* more hitstun.

Forward Air: Hornbutt
This move originated as Arizona's pushblock animation in TFH. In Rivals, it acts as her Forward Air instead. In reference to it's original nature as a defensive animation, the move has soft armor (about 2/3 the amount of armor that Etalus has on his Forward Air) throughout the duration of the move.

Arizona is compatible with the following workshop items:

Final Smash Buddy
Amber
Pit
Kirby
Dialogue Buddy
Greenflower Zone
Dedede Stadium

I like how you can tell that there's improvement in functionality/usability with each individual TFH character mod you've done. You've translated the moveset rather well imo, and added a few creative options to fill the gaps in.

Though.. there are still tiny things that can be improved, as well as a kind of abusable quirk with one of her moves.

The tiny things that I think still need improvement (this kinda applies to all of the TFH characters done so far) Is communicating what a move does through animation. Your sprites have improved significantly but for some moves its still a bit difficult to tell what is happening/where something connects.

and the quirk with one of the moves is, since the n-special pauses you in mid air and seems to not have a use limit before touching the ground, you can near infinitely stall in the air with the move. But thats pretty much my only note on the character gameplay itself.

Over all, I'd say well done!

This just tells me that I really should continue my Velvet, I've been slacking on that... Maybe I should just ask for help so I can get her out faster.
