Description
An edit of the map Harvest, that adds:

- A third spawn door
- More spots for Snipers and Engineers
- Better (and more) flank routes
- More areas to explore, multiple zones have been opened up for players to walk around in

If you have any issues running this map, I would like to know so I can see if I can help at all. If you're going to run this map on your server, let me know so I can join and experience it with more players!

@party rock velk.ca I added a new spawn room to deter spawncamping from the roof and to give Engineers a safer spot for their buildings. I was going to put the no entry decal on the fenced area, but I seem to have forgotten. There was also a strange problem (I'm assuming it was coming from the decompile process) where the no entry decal just didn't show up on moving doors. I wish I could make the sniper windows bigger, but those were the biggest window models I could find (sadly). Glad you liked it! I may come back at some date to revise this map, but currently I'm working on a versus Saxton Hale version of the MVM map Mannhattan (Not just a gamemode switch, I'm attempting to actually add buildings and new scenery)

love the map, I think some changes are a bit odd like the room behind spawn and the second shed door (I like trapping people in there as pyro and just holding down M1, watching them run around helplessly). One thing is that you should add the no entry thing to the little yard at the spawn for the other team, just helps with clarity. final nitpick, but maybe the sniper windows should be slightly bigger. other than that I think it is great, really adds to harvest and makes it feel bigger.

@Kimmy Currently I'm working on a VSH version of Mannhattan, but I could perhaps come back to this at some point. As someone who's played arena edits of Harvest, I definitely agree that it feels more like an arena map. It's such a shame that Arena mode isn't a part of casual, because it has some of the best maps that never get played (Offblast, Ravine, Lumberyard). Just cause this map is uploaded doesn't mean I have ran out of ideas! I did actually plan for more flank routes and making the map a lot more accessible to other classes like Scouts, Spies, and Demomen. So, hopefully I can learn a few things from my current project and use that to come back to this and try and improve upon the map.

The whole map is a one big "tight" space. Harvest was never meant to be koth map it was designed to be arena map. If you have time and ideas you can rebuild the map to make it more balanced, especially for classes other than Sniper.

@JTSYoRHa Thanks for playing! It's my first map that I actually put some work into, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, I totally get the "tight" sentiment, after playing around in it myself, I realize why the original map maker didn't make those places available.
