Mod updated for version 3.4 ✔️

Briefly about the mod
Spark of Genius | Tournament MOD - a special tournament modification for the vanilla game.

Main changes
System generation / starting conditions:
  • Guaranteed minerals added: 5 to each system with guaranteed planet, 5+5 to the capital system for Ringworld and VD (non-Sol).
  • Maximum number of jumps to guaranteed systems reduced:
1st: 3->1 2nd: 3->2
  • Anomalies on guaranteed planets removed.
  • Potential size of guaranteed planets changed:
1st: 14-16 – 90% 17 – 7% 18 – 3% 2nd: 17-21 – 85% 22 – 8% 23 – 5% 24 – 2%
  • Huge blockers (-2) spawn weight factor changed:
Planet size < 15: x0 Planet size < 19: x0.5


Diplomacy and trade:
  • Trade Deals now require establishing embassy OR having 50 or more espionage intel with target empire.
  • Trading with AI is completely disabled.

Precrusors:
  • Zro deposits income from each Zroni site reduced: 2-3 -> 1.

Origins and Civics:
  • All AI generating origins have been removed (hidden) from the game.
  • All Total War civics have been removed (hidden) from the game.
  • Clones are not allowed to choose the Militarism ethic.
  • Resource Consolidation: Gets 1 pop from clearing Malfunctioning Replicator Bay blocker.
  • Prosperous Unification Origin is no longer available to Rogue Servitors.

Balance Changes:
  • Ship focus ruler discount reduced: 20% -> 10%.
  • Fleet expansion agenda discount reduced: 10% -> 5%.
  • Military pioneer discount reduced: 10% - 5%.
  • Oligarchy reelection cost increased: 250 -> 2500.
  • Necrophages: Primitives count changed: 4-9 + 4-9 -> 4+8.

Military operations and weapons:
  • War can only be declared after 30 years from the start of the game.
  • Raider bombardment will not be available until year 50.
  • Crystal armor has been removed from the ship designer and it will not be displayed even if you have studied the technology.
  • The weapons listed below can be researched BUT cannot be equipped on ships before year 50 (does not appear in the ship designer until year 50):
    Kinetic Battery Kinetic Artillery Proton Launchers Neutron Launchers

Ascension Perks:
  • Removed ability to select ascension perk "Become the Crisis".
