Simple Dynamic Settlements

Description
DISCLAIMER: Initialising this mod will cause the game to freeze. It has not crashed, this is the mod changing settlements and is normal, please wait for it to finish.

A simple script mod that replaces settlement skins with those of the new faction after being occupied. this also automatically checks and replaces settlements skins at the campaign start to match owner factions. this means no more humans living in Ogre cities, or Dwarves reclaiming lost holds from orcs only to leave their 'decorations' up, which is a major pet peeve of mine.

Planned features (in no particular order):
- Option to make uniques not be replaced
- Option to allow choice on what settlements are replaced.

Compatibility:

- should be compatible with most mods, but anything adding new factions or changing existing buildings for Chaos, Wood Elves, or Ogre Kingdoms may cause issues.

Known issues:

- Tier 3 models for chaos dwarf factory/outpost buildings when built in province capitals are bugged are disappear. doesn't seem to be any reason for it that I can see or any workaround so may take a while to fix unless CA change something on their end. in the meantime Tier 3 Factory/Outpost settlements will use the Tier 2 model to prevent them all from disappearing.

- Some major settlements are disappearing, usually related to Ogres, Chorfs, or Chaos.

FAQ:

Q: Will you change the battle maps to reflect settlement skin changes?
A: I would love to, but its currently outside the scope of this mod. once I've ironed out the issues and updated it for IE then I might look a bit more into it.

Q: Does this work with co-op?
A: yes

Q: Is this save game compatible?
A: it is recommended you use this on a fresh campaign.

Q: My game is crashing when I start a new campaign with this mod
A: It's not crashing, it's initialising, please be patient and wait it will continue when it is done

Q: Is this mod compatible with custom factions?
A: not fully, it will work for some settlements but factions like ogres, chaos, wefs won't work.

Credit:
The creators of the Tiny Little Cities mod for WH2: this would have been a lot more painful without knowing how to actually replace the settlement skin. they did amazing work and i'm hoping they port the mod to WH3 and update it for the new factions!

Is this mod abandoned and if yes is the author going to give the files to anyone to continue this beautiful mode?

It works but it causes real slowdown in the campaign map the further in to your campaign you get. Playable but frustrating.

It’s a real shame as this is such a brilliant mod for immersion.

Great mod. Unfortunately throws this error in multiplayer:

main_warhammer ERROR: get_local_faction() called but this is a multiplayer game, reconsider or force this usage. Please bug this.

It works but it crashes and will cause FPS issues in campaign the further on you go. I'm getting at best 30 FPS in campaign around turn 100 the stuttering is so bad that I have decided to abandon that campaign.

Works fine for me too
