Hey Nameless, Just wanted to say, I have had the issue with my builds with fluid jets. you have to use a switch box to control the vertical trim.

Uh, have you considered a flying version of this? Because after I loaded a savegame and it suddenly had no torque, I gave up and converted it to electric with an infinity generator and expanded the fluid jet water reserves and it can, ah, fly...

Also the top speed as designed seems to be only 50 knots, if the speed readout at the helm is in knots. It doesn't say what units of measurement it's using. Regardless, the ship seems to have torque to spare, and I managed to raise the top speed to well over 70... whatever units it's using... by upping one of the gearboxes to 3:1. I also connected that to a helm hotkey, giving it a 'high gear'. This way it gets about 26 unknown speed units with the high gear off, over 70 with it on.

This boat has what may well be the best-made and most efficient modular diesel engines I've seen yet, but I'm having a weird problem with it: I can't find a reverse gear. Normally that's not something I'd mention to you, because I could simply add one myself, but this ship has defied my efforts to do that. I did put in another gearbox, gave it a reverse gear, and connected it to a bridge hotkey, but every time I engage it the ship seems to "correct" for it and go forwards anyway.

So... since you've somehow prevented me from putting in a reverse gear, can you maybe give it a reverse function? The waterjets can do it with their deflectors, but I only know that because other boats do it; I don't know how to change the microcontrollers running them to make that happen.

I don't know if it notifies you of the comment I previously posted and deleted but that was to make a correction of an embarrassing typo of the word 'ship'...

The pumps and pipes conected to the sink is basicly just so u can press a button so it looks like its filling with water.
cant be botherd to add an autopilot as the devs are working full time on slowly but surely to ruing fuctins of the game so make it someday completely useless, which they probs allready have if it cant stay in the water when going forwards lol

also when the yacht is top speed she goes off the water and that makes the pumps for the jets go out the water and the yacht is just awkwardly jumping up and down and slowing and speeding up on and on and on
Olosawa 23 May, 2023 @ 9:49am
also autopilot?

i see the pipes and pumps connected to the sink so what i wanna ask is is the sink essentially a bilge pump? or do this bote got no bilge pump. also what does the button at the sink do
