You can do original skips and such that you cannot do in the official version of Dead Center. If you remember old skips and exploits from before they will work here. Dark Carnival has the most obvious changes because it has the old finale map before they recompiled it for versus basically.
Yes it’s the same layout as todays Dead Center, because valve has never recompiled any of the maps since 2009. They were fixed by commentary, vscripts, and lump files. Check out HSTop on YouTube to see all the old exploits and skips that are not fixed in this version. Hope you will give it another shot and change your opinion. This was more for people who wanted to experience the old maps and campaigns without all the fixes to them.
