Description
Roll your eyes and grab your pitchforks folks, it's yet another port of the Grand Campaign to the Imperator Augustus/Empire Divided map!

Why does this mod exist?
If you are anything like me, then you've probably played and enjoyed similar mods in the past, but recently I've noticed that the majority of these mods have one or more of three problems. Either:
A) They are hopelessly out of date and no longer work with the current version of the game.
B) They have small, but annoying issues in how they were set up, with no future fixes planned.
C) They make too many changes to the Vanilla experience for your taste.

Since I can't account for the individual tastes of every potential user, I've made this mod to at least address issues A and B by bringing the Grand Campaign to the Imperator Augustus map with as few changes as possible. No factions have been added or removed. New regions have been given to preexisting factions. Some start positions have naturally shifted, but should remain similar. Fully-updated chapter objectives (huge thank you to Novaspook for the use of their work on that), victory conditions, and mercenary map are included. This mod should be compatible with any mods that don't edit the startpos. For some reason it also makes some of the settlements in the IA campaign nameless, so I would recommend deactivating it if you want to play that. Feel free to use this mod for any other project, I only ask that you credit me for my work . You should also credit Novaspook if you use the missions file included in this mod.

It's also worth noting that this mod will form the base of a more substantial expansion of the Grand Campaign experience that I am currently working on. This larger mod will include, new factions (playable, unplayable, and emergent), larger starting territories for the major empires (Carthage, Seleucids, and Egypt), fully integrated and rebalanced version of my Roster Tweaks mod, more historical changes to starting diplomacy, and cultural changes to certain minor factions. This mod should be releasing in the near future so keep an eye out if you are interested.

IMPORTANT
Since I had to manually add and name settlements to the campaign for this mod it will only work with the English version of the game. I'm not well-versed in creating localizations, nor am I proficient enough in any other language to make them with any confidence, so any translation would have to be done by another mod creator.

Thank you for downloading, please enjoy!

Nevermind, I figured it out

Hey, great mod. Any chance you can make a 4tpy or 12 tpy mod of this? thanks

Hey man, I used the Parthians or the Bactrians to defeat Arachosia. Instead of them being eliminated when I captured their only settlement and wipe all of their army, they still existed for unlimited turns on the southwestern-most corner of the map. If you have time, please look into it.

Hey man, just discovered your mod. I hope the progress on the larger mod is still going on! Would love to try it out.

Finally, to answer a few of your questions at once: I will most likely make a 4tpy version of this at some point, but I have several other projects I'm working on and it's not at the top of my priority list so I won't make any promises on how long it will be before that is out.

Tragically it isn't possible. I would absolutely love to expand the map if it were, but you are correct in your guess, that's all hard coded into the newer games.

Yes, I am still working on the larger mod! It's coming along well and is currently in a playable state, just waiting on some finishing touches right now. I had hoped to have it out by now, but my life has been a bit hectic and I haven't spent much of my limited free time modding lately. Once the holidays are over I should have some more time on my hands, so expect it out very early next year.

Unfortunately, because I don't have access to the raw data from Radious it would be very difficult to make a version of this mod for it, and frankly, even if I did have it, I have a limited amount of time to work on mods and it's not a project I would be very keen on doing. Anyone is free to use my work though, and I'd be happy to help out if someone wanted to take that on.

Thank you! Sadly I won't be doing a faction unlocker, as much as I would love to. The term "unlocker" makes it sound as though one could just flip a switch somewhere and make them playable, but in actuality you are essentially building new factions from the ground up. I shudder at the thought of the work that went in to the existing unlocker mods out there and do not envy the brave souls that made them.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long since I last responded. I would offer you a reasonable excuse but sadly I have none. My crippling social anxiety is the only thing that has kept me from it all this time, but I'm feeling a burst of confidence today so I figured I should finally get around to responding to you all.

Thank you all so much for your interest! I really hope you continue to enjoy the mod and hopefully you'll check out my other projects in the future!
