Armor Replacer (Vanilla + AQD + DEP)

Description
Allows armor to be changed from light to heavy, and vice versa.

Supports vanilla armor and also :
- AQD Armor https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1939935505
- DEP Armor https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789286638

This mod is only for use in Creative Mode, Singleplayer

Controls

- Type /replacer in chat to enable / disable the replacer

- When enabled, equip a welder and aim at a grid. Light armor is green, heavy armor is purple

- Use the scrollwheel to make the selection larger / smaller

LEFT click to convert Light -> Heavy

RIGHT click to convert Heavy -> Light

The issue is that straight block replacing like that only works if the blocks are the same size, same conveyor ports, same orientation.
So for any custom mods that use a different block size, or a different anything really it'll never work.

Thats why it's limited to switching from heavy armor to light armor (and vice-versa), since those are always identical blocks.

Really nice rework. If you ever feel incited to rework this again i have a suggestion.
Make it replace any block with any other block... IE Gyroscopes with Modded Gyros.
Maybe a UI based one that will scan mods.

Its a lot of work but i see this mod becoming number 1 on the workshop for all servers that host mods.

Yeah probably, but I'm busy doing other SE projects atm, which have higher priority than making an armor replacer mod for armor I will never use.

As long as the subtypeIDs of the armor models are consistent it's fairly straightforward
