SuperStates Mod

Play as one of the 50 American States, 10 Canadian Provinces and 31 Mexican States and More! With new tech groups and new governments (American and Mexican governorships, Canadian premierships), new units and some 200 provinces using modern borders!

Can be found on the Paradox Interactive Forums[forum.paradoxplaza.com] (Requires a registered account and an EU4 Key to access.)

THIS MOD IS INTENDED TO BE PLAYED BY ITSELF, compatible with all Paradox DLC. However your results may vary if you use other mods in conjunction with this mod, however only limited support will be given to using graphics mod. American Dream DLC is suggested but not required, as some events\decisions in the future will be DLC specific, but for the most part they are for specific aspects already covered in American Dream.

Also, if I could have your cooperation, please REPORT ALL Errors, Mistakes, and other Problems HERE.

Subscribing to Mod through Steam:
Downloading through Steam Workshop is straight forward and easy. When you click to subscribe to the mod, Steam will download it directly into the EUIV mod folder. It is NOT an immediate download, it takes as long as your internet speeds allow, which for most people should not take more than 5-10 minutes. Once the mod is downloaded, its available to play in EU4 immediately. When the mod is updated, Steam will update it for you automatically when it detects an update, this is not always immedate either, but will download when it detects an update. In cases where the mod will not appear in the launcher, give it time, Steam prioritizes its downloads and sometimes the client gets out of sync with the servers and won't immediately download the mod. In that case, just restart Steam. If you are having problems with acquiring the mod through Steam, please read this.

@Board 3659 I can probably put one in but most of Polynesia was part of the Pacific Trust Territories and that's why they weren't included as they were only united under the banner of the US as UN Trusteeship.

Belize and Panama are not included as they were never part of any federal system, they exist as cores that can appear after the territory has been colonized, but they don't appear at the start at any point.

would it be possible to add a start date for a united polynesia (around the 1960s-1980s?). Also wonder why Belize isn't included along with Panama

@trans? We found the problem I'll post an update. Unbeknownst to me, I never uploaded the Utah events file even though I have it.

@trans? As far as my version of the live version goes, the mission tree's events are working properly. I would make sure your version is up-to-date with Steam's version.

If that fails, check the event file "FlavorUTA.txt" and see if the event flavorUTA.1 triggers flavorUTA.15. Then check the mission file Utah_Missions.txt and see if the mission "uta_mormon_alliance" triggers flavorUTA.1.

Of course, make sure the event is completed diplomatically as otherwise the event will not fire. It should fire on the same day without unpausing so no tag switching will be required.

@trans? I'll let the mod team know on the discord as I didn't work on that so I have no idea what would cause that. But I do know that if you trigger an event for the AI, the AI will have already picked the option before you tag switch to it.

utah's mission "brothers of the faith" doesn't seem to send an event to idaho, even when i have relations maxed out at 200. i confirmed this by taking the event and then switching over to idaho before unpausing. however, i never saw the event as idaho. in fact, the event name isn't even listed in the description with quotation marks where the name should be. this indicates to me that this event is missing, and is not properly implemented into this mod. please advise.

@trans? Yeah that issue was brought up recently by another mod dev team member but we're focused on a number of different things. As its a late stage formable its kinda gotten forgotten.

any plans to expand the american focus tree? it seems odd that you don't get claims on all of america when forming it, plus it's honestly pretty bare bones.
