    Jóhann Gíslason ÁR was an Icelandic stern trawler built in 1990 in Gdansk Poland. Originally operated by fishery Glettingur HF. In 1995 Jóhann Gíslason was sold or inherited by Kirkjusandur HF. / Landsbankinn. Then the same year Útgerðafélag Akureyringa HF acquired the vessel.

    Then the same year, Frosti EHF bought the vessel and renamed it Frosti. In the year 2000 Frosti underwent a major rebuild. A superstructure was added underneath the bridge and an anti-roll tank was installed on the stern, which also provides protection to those who work on deck. A new keel, and interior refurbishment. In 2003 Frosti's trawl became stuck to the ocean floor. 1st mate noticed a larger than the rest wave approach from the stern, he misjudged the wave and reeled in too quickly causing the ship to be pulled into the wave. As a result, Frosti capsized which partially filled the engine room, workshop, and rudder/gen room due to an open door on deck. The captain did not think this event was serious enough to write in the logbook and the exact date is therefore lost. This incident also prompted a change in Icelandic regulations: While trawling, all doors on deck must be closed.

    In 2009 while docked for maintenance, Frosti suffered an ammonia leak and it seeped onto the deck and into the sea. Firefighters hosed it down while the leak was dealt with and no one was harmed. Frosti Was sold in 2012 to fishery Select Seafood Canada Ltd and renamed it to Northern Alliance where it is currently for sale.

    7/26/2022: Fixed paint mistakes and released publicly.
    8/15/2022: Fixed loose object on deck, lowered speed of Main Winch, so it can haul the new trawl.
    9/7/2022: Small changes, not even important enough to mention.
    9/19/2022: Deck has been partially redone accordingly to those reference pics, same with bow. Mast has been made taller to better capture the irl one. Crane has been moved two blocks back, and made two blocks longer, and branded ABAS thanks to source. Made a ladder to the gallows like irl, and changed the nav mast slightly.
    14/5/2023: Many small changes, including lowering the bridge by one block to look more the like the real life vessel. Some optimization was also done, bringing the physics warnings down from three to two.

@arvmyk I had a pelagic trawler cooking but it has since stalled, still awaiting some logic being made and then laziness from me. I don't know when it'll be released
