Though, I would point out that, currently, the small block edition is only 33% slower than the large block edition. (Or, looking at it another way, the large edition is merely 1.5 times or 50% faster than the small.)
Considering how it's already super handy that a small block edition exists and considering how much smaller in volume it is, I would think that the small edition should be slower compared to the large.
Taking a look at the code for your "Tiered Flat Gravel Sifter", I see that the small edition has a Base Production Time of 1.5 seconds, but the large edition has a Base Production Time of 0.4. In other words, the small is 3.75 times slower than the large edition - almost 4 times. Even with your "Dedicated Refineries v3", the small edition has just half the speed of the large.
Maybe split the difference and make the SB gravel refinery 66% slower than the large (or a third of the speed of the large)?
