AA Redwall Races Full

Description
The full version of the Redwall Races mod. The races will now vary in draw size and stats. I recommend using Camera+ because the smaller races may be hard to see without it. I also recommend a mod that allows you to make hats invisible if you like, since this will not include any headgear, and headgear meant for vanilla pawns will look very silly on these races.

These critters do have their traits and thought defs now too, so be careful what sort of creatures you pick. Wolverines and Tree Rats are both cannibals, ans quite a few other critters have Bloodlust. So be careful who you let into your colony.

For the moment there are 27 races now. I added Great Rats, which were not in the lite version since they look the same as normal rats, only bigger. I considered also adding Pygmy Shrews, but I think they would be too small to effectively see, even with Camera+. So I think I will leave them out for now.


Vermin: Ermine, Ferret, Great Rat, Grey Fox, Marten, Rat, Red Fox, Sable, Stoat, Tree Rat, Wearet, Weasel, Wildcat, Wolverine.


Woodlander: Badger, Dormouse, Grey Squirrel, Hare, Hedgehog, Mole, Mouse, Rabbit, Red Squirrel, River Otter, Sea Otter, Shrew, Water Vole.



Remember this is still just the races. I am still working on the full version that will have items and factions.

Also, I'm not sure if it would cause issues or not, but I wouldn't recommend using this and the Lite version at the same time. Even if it doesn't cause compatibility issues(and it very well might), it would just be kinda silly.

Heh, yeah. To be fair I haven't really figured it out myself, though in my defence I'm new to Rimworld modding so...

I am curious about the xenotypes though. Might have to keep an eye out here on the workshop just in case they upload it at some point as that'd also work.

I appreciate it. As I'm sure everyone and their brother has figured out by now, coding is not my strong suit.

Someone else had taken a crack at it and done some xenotypes, which was very sweet of them. But they said that the 1.5 update was simple and the hares ability was the only thing that needed to change, which turned out to not be the case.

They don't seem to be rendering? Hmm... actually, I believe there were some major changes in regards to V1.5 that change how things like pawns are set up and rendered. It's related to Rimworld itself and not the alien race framework. I'll post a little wiki link, it might be relevant.

I'll also have a look at this mod in my free time as well and see what the errors are. I may not be overly familiar with Rimworld code but I might be able to spot the oddities and what they're linked to. No promises I'll figure things out but it wouldn't hurt to try, right?

I have had very little time to do rimworld stuff. The one afternoon that I did have so far, I couldn't figure it out. I did what the alien race framework seemed to say I needed to do, and everything was still red text and the races didn't render. I haven't had the time to take another crack at it.

Hey there, just wanted to check in to see how things were going with the 1.5 update. Going by comments it sounds like things aren't exactly going smoothly...

I personally enjoy using this mod myself especially since there's a scenario I wish to play around with involving it with the latest version. Of course, that's not possible until it's updated since it's not currently compatible. Was just wondering how much progress there was done so far and, if not, was wondering if there was the possibility for someone to design a temporary patch, with your permission of course.

It'd be a shame to let this mod be forgotten, is all.

I mean they're not just a TERF, a single look at their profile reveals they're quite a disgusting person. They think LGBT people are filled with sin and will burn in hell.

He's one of those "I want these people to die, but I'm a good, non-violent person, so I'll just wait for *other people* to do it and cheer silently" types of people.

The "Condition" Turtleshroom is talking about with his "friend" is that they came out to him as transgender, and so he dumped them, because he's rabidly anti-trans.

Eventually. I haven't had time and energy to look at all the 1.5 stuff and see how it has broken everything yet.
