Vanilla XCOM Collection
7 items
Description
Adds vanilla-style Chosen weapons from XCOM 2: War of the Chosen, featuring custom gunshot sounds and (de)buffs.
These weapons are altered versions of charge/magnetic weapons with unique perks.

Perks activate upon hitting living targets, last for a very short time and can be stacked.

Contents:
  • Disruptor Rifle - Implacable - increases moving speed.
  • Arashi - Vampirism - increases healing rate.
  • Darklance - Steady hands - increases accuracy.
  • Darkclaw - Rupture - increases target's incoming damage.
  • Katana - Blood trail - decreases target's melee dodge chance.

Try my other mods:

Sidenote:
- Compatible with everything, except CE (for now)
- I will be making more XCOM themed modules, such as EU/EW stuff, races, factions, utility items, armor, etc.
- Feel free to make compatibility patches, report bugs and request features!

Credits:
C# and XML coding - me
Textures - Sovereign
Sounds - XCOM 2: War of the Chosen

Good luck, Commander.

A bug? Chosen weapon technology open only katana. All other weapon you can craft even without it.

Craftable, slightly more expensive to make than charge weapons because of their perks.

Are these unique? Or are they craftable?

I can't wait to see the armour, accessories, and hopefully faction with the enemies and quests!

For the ammo types, maybe you could use an apparel item that applies the effects of the different ammo, that occupies a new slot on the torso so you can only equip one.

Vests could work like the flak vest, just occupy the middle layer of the torso while the armours occupy the outer layer only.
