Crane Game

This map was inspired by (and is centered around) the crane from Half-Life 2. I was always disappointed how there weren't many maps on the workshop that use the crane. After playing multiplayer with a couple friends through Half-Life 2's crane section in the Coast levels, this map idea was finally born.

This is my first uploaded map onto the workshop.

Map Features:
-Destructible platforms
-Jenga except with a crane
-Small lobby to chill in while you wait for everyone to load in
-3D Skybox

How to Play

SURVIVORS
Your objective is simple, try not to fall off the edge and down 200 stories or get crushed by the giant props the Crane Operator will fling at you! Also by the way did I mention that everything you're standing on is destructible?

In the lobby, there are 2 portals you walk through which take you to the platforms that survivors are on.
(Make sure everyone goes through the same portal, since there are 2 different games). The first portal takes you to the game with the destructible platforms, the 2nd one takes you to the Jenga version, they are appropriately labeled in game for you.

The premise is the same with the Jenga version, simply do not fall off. If you run out of platforms to stand on, if you even make it that far, it's game over!

CRANE OPERATOR
In front of the portal frames is a large red button which teleports you to the crane. Press it, and from there simply walk towards the ladder, press your "Use" key and you'll climb into the crane.

If you're playing the first game with the destructible platforms, behind you is a large array
of different props you can use to destroy the platforms the survivors are on (or fling at them!). There's lots to play with including wrecking balls, trains, hell even a whole entire jet. Careful not to lose all of them, they don't come back!

If you're playing the Jenga version, note that there are no props for you to use except for the Jenga Tower. Simply destruct the platform by grabbing them with the crane
magnet and pull them off! The objective is to knock all players off.

If you haven't played Half-Life 2 or just don't know the controls for the crane, read the next section below or skip over it if you're all good.

CRANE CONTROLS

(If you have played Half-Life 2, you can skip over this since its just for those who haven't used the crane).

The crane uses your WASD(Movement) keys to rotate the crane and move the crane magnet's position. Press left click to deploy the magnet and pick up an object. Right or Left clicking from this point will drop the object.

A tip for the crane operator is to build velocity by swinging the magnet around, which will make props more destructive to the platforms and reach the far corners of it.
It's very simple to do this, just swivel a full 180 or 360 in the crane! You'll quickly understand how this works, just experiment around.

There is a chance I'll make more crane-based maps in the future, but don't count on it.
