Story Events Intro:

For eons, your civilization has been locked in conflict with Aion, a deity with power over time, that every 100 years takes the life of half your planet's population with the apparent goal of sustaining itself, though its real motives are shrouded in mystery.

For most of its history, your civilization has looked for a way to bring an end to the deity’s cycle of death, as it has power over both time and space, and is able to travel between the present and the future at will, always barely out of reach.

Between your civilization's incredibly long lifespan, and avoidance of all kinds of unnecessary relationships, you have managed to amass an incredible deal of knowledge and master technology and the energy of the universe itself.

Focusing only on your objective of finding the answer to your plight, you have at long last found a way to travel to the time in which Aion resides, and bring an end to your suffering once and for all.
