Description
DEFENCE OF THE NATION




IMPORTANT MESSAGE - PATCH 1.6 - THE INTRO VIDEOS THAT PLAYED IN THE BEGGINING OF EACH MISSION WERE REMOVED... I HAVE DECIDED THIS WAY BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE WERE EXPERIENCING CRASHES. You can still view the videos but
you will have to find the in the campaing root folder Defence_of_the_nation.pbo/campaign/missions/mission name/video.



After 2 months in development, I am proud to present to you my new ARMA III campaign called - DEFENCE OF THE NATION. The campaign is based on current events taking place in Ukraine. You will take control of
a Lieutenant Ivan Kozlov and his squad of loyal soldiers as he fights Russian occupants.

THE CAMPAIGN

The campaign is composed of 7 missions in total and playtime should be around 2 hours.
I think that the missions are pretty fun and no mission is too boring or long. But of course, if you find any serious bugs, or mistakes or just want to tell me that I should do things differently. You are free to write me
in the comments. I will be glad for any feedback :) Remember that only your comments and feedback can improve this campaign. I will respond and modify the campaign accordingly.

STORY

This campaign starts in April 2022 during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Your objective is to fight the Russian occupants but it will be a hard task. You are outgunned and there are much more enemies than your troops.
Can you beat the Russians or will you die heroically in the fight for freedom?

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

Heal function - I have added a heal function that allows you to heal at any time no matter where you are. You don't even need a medkit. This function can be used once per 30 seconds but of course, it is your decision to
use it :) You can always heal normally by going to a medic or using a medkit in your inventory.

Rearm function -

As the title says the function allows you to rearm - To resupply your primary weapon ammo, grenades, and rockets. To use this function just approach the soldier called Dmytro Bondar.When you look down to your squadmates identities you can see him as - "Rearm" He is the
team's weapon specialist and when you see REARM action just hold your SPACE or MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON for a couple of seconds. If the action was successful you should receive new ammo.

You can rearm once per 20 seconds.

AUTO AI TELEPORT FUNCTION
We all know how bad can the ARMA 3 AI sometimes act.So I have created an automatic system which teleports your
squadmates to you if they get stuck or are too far away.No more stuck squadmates or slow ai.Your squadmates
are always just a couple of meters from you so you can fight together.

REPAIR FUNCTION - NEW IN PATCH 1.2 -> In mission 6 you have a possiblity to repair your tank by pressing REPAIR TANK action.The action becomes available once you board the tank.

SQUAD REARM FUNCTION

Since patch 1.5 you are able to REARM your squad if they run out of ammo :)


I also plan to develop more of these functions in the next updates which will be released every new week.

Rommel i love your work but this one feels off because your squad is not able to be killed and keeps teleporting to you i suspect you did this to make it new player friendly but i wish there was a option to turn it off as well as the heal and restock option

@sydorov Do you mean when trying to destroy the enemy tower? You have to place the explosives on each pillar to destroy the tower :)

I have problems setting up demolition pack in Logistical Problem mission. I cannot use the pack.
