Special reconnaissance Vehicle - LynX
Based on the HDT Storm

Sales Pitch
The SRV - LynX or the LynX for short, is a multi-purpose tactical vehicle that is capable of a fulfilling the wide range of uses that any modern special forces team require such as: Long Range Reconnaissance, Heavy Weapons support, superior battlefield mobility and more! The LynX has a hidden monster hidden under the "hood." It has some true American muscle in the form of a Chevrolet LS6, 5.7 Liter V8, 405 Break-Horsepower, mid-engine power unit. If you are lucky enough to get to drive this in an OP, you will have no issue getting away from unwanted fire. In terms of arma, this means you have a top speed of 160km/h. You will have so much acceleration, you'll get a free face-lift with your rapid extract.
However, if you are looking to get yourself into a spot of trouble with the local riff-raff, you will have a .50cal M2 Heavy Machine-gun on the topside and an extendable M240 on the left hand side of the Lynx for your woes.
Now. The seating arrangement is as follows: 4 Seats in the front (Driver, Gunner, Commander & the dead-weight that isn't trusted to use any of that) and 2 "seats" in the back. A warning to the wise though. Those ass-rests will leave a Gentleman's rear-end looking like a donkey has had it's way with you. So, enough of the sales pitch, now we'll get into the juicy details.


Technical Details
Some features will only work with ACE. It is recommended that you use this mod with ACE.
• 4 Camouflage Variants
- UK Woodland, NATO Woodland, Winter and Desert Tan.

• Highly Custom & Realistic Vehicle Physics
- The driving may be a bit difficult to adjust to at first but we highly recommend using your hand-brake key for tight
turns and to be considerate when accelerating because we aren't joking when we say that it's realistic.

• Sling-loadable

• IR Laser on the M2

• LED Light Bar (Also IR Light Capable)

• CAMO NET(Woodland, Desert, Winter)
- Requires ACE: Must be placed in vehicle inventory. Can be found in the Arsenal. There is already one by default(cannot be put on if M240 extended)

• Extendable M240
- ACE Recommended: Cannot be extended if the camo net is placed over. Can only be extended and fired from
outside the vehicle.

• Flag Pole with custom flags
- ACE Recommended: Extend the 2 default flags or a custom one through the CBA Menu

• Visibly Removable Cargo Wheel
- Requires ACE: If the wheel is removed from the Cargo Menu, it will disappear of the back of the LynX

• FLIR Pod: Extendable from the commander seat by pressing Q/E. Default set to lowest position.

• BWMOD Smoke Cannisters: Thanks to the BWmod team.

• Most Mod Features will work without ACE.

For custom flags
When using CBA, players can go to Addon Options, and find the setting which allows to add flags.
the value must be an array of tuples (two-dimensional arrays) with the format of [NAME, PATH] where NAME is the name displayed in the interactions menu, and PATH is the path to the flag texture, e.g.
[['USA', '\a3\data_f\flags\flag_us_co.paa']]

I wish this vehicle could have the commander to man the M240, like the british ones in 3CB. Nonetheless, awesome mod.

Hello
I really like this vehicle, but I would like to load it in a transport such has the Blackfish (Vehicle In Vehicle feature). However it's not allowed. Since the PBO is blocked, I can't check the config file to understand what is wrong.

i was thinking of maybe doing some retextures / more camo variations for the lynx but youve encrypted the pbo. Do you maybe think you could send me the texture files / paths for it so i can sort it out? hmu if u wanna talk about it тони#8983

Outstanding work!

The two game-affecting bugs are:
- engine component getting easily damaged from simple jumps (ie dune hopping)
- seemingly unable to load the LynX into ViV capable airframes (ie CUP C130 and CH53)

A nice bonus would be a khaki and olive paints to match vanilla A3 NATO vics.
