There is a soft incompatibility with Alpha Animals. It generally works, but the wayward mobile assembler and ground runner will throw errors; they should be disabled.

Now you can finally add to your menagerie without gallons of alcohol and cages! Introducing something called BUYING animals, a cool new feature ready for 1.0!

This mod adds 2 new orbital traders, the Animal Trader and the Exotic Animal Trader.

There definitely is. I've also learned a lot of C# and more about the trader system so I may possible re-work this mod to be a bit more robust and controllable. As usual, time is the only commodity; it can't be bought, only spent - and there never seems to be enough of it.

Sorry for the delay. I think there is an option in the Alpha Animals mod settings to toggle individual animals.

Original big-mouthed bug reporter here. The right thing to do is to add a soft incompatibility to AA stating that to run these together one should disable the wayward mobile assembler.

I'm aware, but I can't duplicate the issue, I run them both together with no problems despite the warning. When I get a chance I'll talk with Sarg about it and try to get it cleared up.

in early versions of the game one popular strat for taming thrumbos was waiting for them to fall asleep then walling them in with a door so they couldn't wander off or get injured.
