Hello and welcome!

The Overview

Hi! My name is Evelyn, and it's my pleasure to introduce you to the Evelyn's Corporate Additions.
This mod aims to add a bit more diversity to the game with more weapons, tools, and other researchables and branching material paths.

Right now there are four major corporate entities planned:

EveCo Manufacturing - Weapon and bio-engineering corporation. Focused into plasma weapons, and industrial bio-engineering.

Xi-Industries - Domestic defense and industrial tool manufacturer. Laser based weapons and tools, as well as material and mineral research.

Z-X3 Military Industries - A military weapon manufacturing founded during the mechanoid war as a primary manufacturer of anti-mechanoid technology and suppression.

Solar Incorporated - Medical and bionic focused humanitarian company. Focused around medical research and bionic technology.

Each corporation will have a unique art style and focus, while trying to remain as vanilla friendly as possible. This is to add lore, and flavor to your game while also adding a lot more diversity to your game!

EveCo
Items & Materials:

Thrick Fruit - A biologically engineered fruit bush used to make Thrick Resin, a key ingredient in Thrick Alloy.

Cyanosteel Alloy - A heat resistant metal used in the construction of EveCo weapons and armor.

Prismatic Alloy - A compound alloy of cyanosteel and Thrumbo horn. The material has enhanced heat resistance properties.

Xi-Indestries
Items & Materials:

Zipherium Ore - A rare space material. This material is found only in deep space rocks, and has strange properties.

Zipherium Glass - Refined, fired, and cast sheets of Zipherium glass. Used in high powered laser optics.

Zipherium Alloy - Zipherium added to steel, making a unique alloy used in nano-tech, laser housings, and other various uses.

Ore Processor - A jaw crusher used to pulverize ore rocks into a more easily refined form.

Phased Blaster - Xi-Industries small defense blaster. The best laser-based home defense weapon. [WARNING. DO NOT POINT AT EYES.]

Phased Heavy Blaster - A phased heavy blaster built to Xi-Industries specifications. [WARNING. DO NOT POINT AT EYES.]

Phased Automatic Blaster - An automatic phased blaster built to Xi-Industries specifications. [WARNING. DO NOT POINT AT EYES.]
[Laser based, short range, automatic]

Heavy Automatic Blaster - A heavy, high-energy automatic blaster built to Xi-Industries specifications. [WARNING. DO NOT POINT AT EYES.] [Laser based, short range, automatic]



Z-X3 Military Industries
Items & Materials:

Neutronium Ore - Neutronium ore inside of some space rock.

Neutronium Ingot - Neutronium is a heavy, extremely strong material with a deep blue color.

Neutronium Alloy - An alloy of neutronium and gold. This material is considered an extremely effective room-temperature superconductor and is the primary material used in railguns and rail-assisted weapons.

ZX-SP50 - A heavy, powerful, semi-automatic sidearm that was used by soilders during the mechanoid wars. Designed to be affordable and effective against mechanoids of all sizes.

ZX-RS25 - A solid submachine gun designed with anti-mechanoid in mind. Used for fire suppression during the mechanoid wars, and sometimes even seen used to this day on many battlefields.

ZX-BR300 - Heavy, accurate, burst rifle used during the mechanoid wars. This rail-assisted rifle can dish out high damage at a moderately long range. The primary rifle vs mechanoids and hard armor.

ZX-MR47 - Heavy, accurate, burst rifle used during the mechanoid wars. This rail-assisted rifle can dish out high damage at a moderately long range. The primary rifle vs mechanoids and hard armor.

ZX-SP50-S - Heavy, accurate, burst rifle used during the mechanoid wars. This rail-assisted rifle can dish out high damage at a moderately long range. The primary rifle vs mechanoids and hard armor.

In addition:
I'd like to add a shout-out to my best friend Hallicard for helping make this mod a proper reality. If it wasn't for him making the entire EveCo weapon sprite list, I'd probably never have published this or pursued continuing it.

I do have more plans for things to come. I'll post a planned featured list at some point soon here.

Alright, I've made an update to armor, and done a lot of misc work. There's a lot of new items that have been added and a few have some overhauls.

I'll update the mod page *eventually* (soon) but it's been a while and this update took a lot out of my drive to do anything.

I've pushed an update that fixes an issue between anomaly DLC and it.

It's got some content involving a new material that's a little under-utilized at the moment. I'll be flushing it out more in time.


... Huh? No, the mod isn't abandoned. I've just been busy.

The newest addition will potentially be changing Thrick Fruit. I'm going to /ATTEMPT/ to make this transition seemless, but there may be bugs initially. If worst comes to worst, there will be a grace period of two different types. An 'Outdated' one, and a 'New' one which you'll need to either sell or use the outdated one during the grace period. I'm trying very hard to not make changes to pre-existing items often, but for the future compatibility to other mods, and future updates I'm entirely forging a new groundwork for items. I didn't expect to be making more farmables, and foods so I'm going to start preemptively laying out foundations in the future. (This was a thing I already did for the weapons, so those won't be affected.)

Good to see people still interested. I'll be probably getting back into rimworld soon enough after my move, and may also actually add the new weapons in.

I've had the code in my notepad++ for so damn long lol

I don't do great with random friend requests, and recently purged a lot of people from my list that I didn't recognize.

You weren't blocked by the way, just weren't on the friends list.
