Amarr Apocalypse Battleship - EVE Online

Oh boy, this took a while and was a massive project. Thanks to EVE-Kaneda for the reference shots of the Old Apocalypse model, It was a favourite ship of mine ever since I got into EVE back in 2009.



PS: Put Reflections to Everything in graphics settings, I built this with those settings in mind


Warning:
I wanted this to be a pre-barrier ship (10 Slot) but didn't account for the use of Iron (which is the heaviest material in the game), paired with its large size- the processing power forces it to the 11 slot zone, meaning you will need Ogonite building knowledge to use it on servers that allow up to 17K blocks per ship. /However/, if you decrease its size by 25% then you will easily get it below 10 slots; but then the crew quarter window layout will not match the ship design and the turret bases will be below Size 3 each.

Now the reason I used Iron is because its the only material with high roughness textures, meaning it won't reflect as much light around it (since all the materials are full metallic). I also couldn't use armor because the texture wouldn't match the design. Trinium was the perfect match for Gold though, so it worked out in the end (albeit with a much heavier ship).

I've filled out as much internal room as possible with framework, so if you wish to change anything then go into build mode, hit the View button, click on Framework, then transform it to whatever block you want.




Thanks to this project, I am also now running a dedicated server which welcomes EVE ship designs (and even rewards people 60M Credits for uploading them), there needs to be more EVE ships on the workshop! You can join the server by searching for "Cyno Studios" in the browser.
